Too low-budget, but still some funny jokes
OJT10 December 2011
We met Kurt Josef Wagle in a VGTV series, and he has now moved to the big screen with this. Maybe it would have been enough to go on DVD. Though this will be a cult movie in some years, when Tommy Wirkola has stricken the gold mines of Hollywood.

In a Blair Witch parody style mockumentary, Kurt is looking for his son, which is missing in the area where the fjord witch is ruling, just on the other side of Melkelva (the Milky River). He gathers a team of lunatics, and from there on... The movie is found and so on...

This is no great follow up on the Kill Buljo-movie. It's far too low- budget in style. I really find Kurt Josef's beard annoying. The rest of the cast is doing all right. Thereæ's talent to find behind the idea, but it's not functioning the way it should. If you don't like bad movies, don't watch this. It's plain silly, but still there's some good jokes in here. 5-10 minutes or so.

If you're looking for a good parody, see kill Buljo instead, or go watch a Mel Brooks' movie. It'll be far more pleasing.

A very kind 4 out of 10.

Funny and Refreshing

After a short web-series Tommy Wirkola's story about Kurt Josef Wagle finally hits the big screen, and now he's looking for his son Tordenskjold that has gone missing in the woods with his boyfriend Troy. And Kurt is extremely sure that the Fjord witch has something to do with it.

So he and his friend Rock gaders together a crew of four people; "the psychic" Lillian Mulder, The local gun-crazed police officer Burt, the school teacher Gregor and Pablo the Spanish cameraman to head into the forest to prove that the witch is real and save Tordenskjold.

The film is excellent the best comedy from Wirkola since Kill Buljo, only this time it's The Blair Witch Prodjects turn, but all you Parody haters out there: Don't worry it's a minor part of the plot. Because not only is the film directed well, it has a lot of creative and funny material.

The acting is also werry good, the actors are doing a good job bringing these characters to life as they end up in all kinds of crazy situations.

Basiclly get your hands on a copy this is a cult film waiting to make you laugh and maybe eaven scare you a little as it is a "Horror-Comedy- Mockumentary". And please get the original version and read the subtitles to all you non-Norwegians, I bet watching a dubbed version would make it WAY to silly.

(Although it is pretty silly)
