After a very disruptive delay due to the pandemic, The Good Karma Hospital returns for season 4 thankfully. For the background drama, I highly recommend you read "Back on the Wards" by Michael Pickard in Drama Quarterly online. It's remarkable The Good Karma Hospital was back for season 4.
Andrew Sean almost steals the episode as Tuk Tuk Elvis, and it's a shame he didn't get much more screen time.
This is the first episode not to feature Ruby. I understand she doesn't appear in the next episode, and I wonder if in real life the actress, Amrita Acharia, got paid for episodes she didn't appear in.
I hate to say it but the Frankie Martin/Bobby Martin sub-plot is getting OTT really. Frankie's ungratefulness and condescension and disdain for India is grating for sure.
