Love it so far.

This show has surpassed my expectations. I went in expecting a cringey, bad comedy remake and came out loving this and being really invested in the story. It's modern, filmed well and the costume design is wonderful. I will keep watching and hope for a continued season pending the finale.

Warning: Spoilers
Was enjoying the hell out of this reboot until E4. So we have Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes), a self made gazillionaire, teaching and schooling Wil (Jabari Banks) all the life lessons a young man needs from a strong male role-model. So far everything is tight. Then comes the message that Phil, running for DA, is actually FOR defund the police?

Say WHAT?

So here's a guy living in a multi million dollar mansion, surrounded by a wall with a team watching 100 or so security cameras, while also employing a Fixer/Bodyguard/(Hitman) - and wanting to defund the police?

They turned the smartest, most respectable character in the entire show into a hypocrite and complete idiot in the blink of an eye.

I tried give this show a change. But this episode piss me off.

The good think that old one did well was: Will represent the "hood", but naive and full of dreams. Carlton the upper class, without any touch about real problems but with good hearth and Hillary the rich people that dont care about anything.

Uncle Phil and Vivian balance between two worlds and give a grown up perspective. And when Will crash and burn with schemes, they both were there to protect and teach the lesson (or they learn something).

This show seems that didn't get that, and throws themes (very important topics) in couple of lines like they are trivial conversations.

The target of this show seems to be GenZ that want a show confirming their point of views.
