Another classic episode . Quite unfortunate it's the last episode of DC Jo Masters before promoted to (uniform) Sergeant.
Three guest stars in this episode: Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones in Doctor Who spinoff: Torchwood, and was in The Bill episode where PC Lance Powell was murdered) as Jeremy Preston, Kara Tointon (who I've seen as Dawn Swann in EastEnders, and won eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing with Artem Chigvintsev) as attractive workaholic Ami Ryan, and Barry Sloane as Ami's boyfriend Josh Hunt (popular name for a boyfriend).
Jeremy Preston as a security, and ironically enough, suspected of burglary yet, like Jo, I didn't think he was there to burgle Ami's flat, even he was handling a knife and standing over her whilst she was sleeping. He harasses her leaving a chocolate muffin at her desk with note "Dear Ami, it was a mistake, I hope we can get past this".
As Grace, mentioned throughout this episode, it sounds sinister.
Furthermore, and I think this might be some pure coincidence, this episode of The Bill of some obsessive guy abuses his job as a security guard in an office block spying via security cameras at an attractive young businesswoman who doesn't give him attention, it mirrors the 2007 Christmas classic horror-thriller movie: P2 (with Wes Bentley and Rachel Nichols).
