This was another good episode with plenty of laughs and some drama. When Frank gets home and finds the house has been stripped bare he blames youngest son Liam for letting the bailiffs in. In order to to get the money needed to get their property back Liam gambles what little they have but when he loses he finds himself owing even more, this time to Joe. The comedy in the episode is provided by the Maguires; Paddy is planning to get a new life with his Salsa dancing partner and his boys are planning to rob a drug lord from another part of Manchester; the latter of those story lines provides the most laughs as Mickey lures the police away from their car so his brothers can steal their car and impersonate police officers to aid their robbery... unfortunately they fail to remove the tracker from the car so the real police turn up before they can kill the drug lord, something that will no doubt cause them problems in future episodes. It isn't all laughs though, Karen is still having problems and it looks as though Liam might take a drastic way out of his debts.
Ciaran Griffiths is doing a good job as Mickey Maguire, a character I wasn't keen on at first but has grown to be one of the funniest in the show. For a show in its seventh season the stories manage to stay fairly fresh and the characters interesting.
