I know this is technically an AU but it sure kept the spirit of characters like: Betty, Veronica and Jughead. I mean what Veronica did at the end was so her and a Lodge thing to do. Betty's darkness still prevails wherever she is I see and Jug is Jug. Interesting to see what happens next week with Sabrina showing up.

So bad it's actually funny

Yet i think i liked it?
Dont get me wrong, I didn't like the first2 and hated them actually but this one is a bit different. Both theme and dialogue are better but not enough to call good.
Waiting for episode 4 with Sabrina is the best we can do!

I read an article where it stated that someone with the series asked why they haven't done this type of " horror " before........this isn't scary. I've loved this show from the first season. The first season was an actual mystery. Then they brought in all of these music numbers, weird music episodes and drive away from the actual plot line. I just wish that the writers would stick with one plot line that can drive a series. Stay consistent. It still has potential, but that potential is slipping away. This 5 episode series is just that. Slipping away. Im not even hoping it ties into the actual next season because it's so far gone. The supernatural aspect is intriguing, on the other hand it takes away from the real life aspect the OG season offered. Chilling adventures of Sabrina is a great show. I know the cross over was talked about before hand. This is not the way to do it. I don't know. I just wish the show runners had a better mindset of where they see the show going, rather then giving the people what they want. Just another GoT ending to me. But I will keep watching.
Someone please save this show from these loser writers!

Now they are trying to copy Lucifer as their last hope to save the show? Another episode with such a strange plot. Kevin signing a contract where it says '666 - sell your soul' without noticing it, Betty completely slaughtering somebody, Veronica sending her boyfriend to hell, like WTF, I had to laugh really hard, because that was so dumb and strange.
But anyhow I can't stop watching this show, I don't know why. I hope they continue to kill the characters, so that we won't get a season 7 😅

Better than the other two

So far, the better Rivervale episode. I am not sure if the Rivervale ones have the same internal continuity or if they are one shots, with independent continuities. I say that because here, for example, Betty seemed more like Riverdale Betty and less like the character she was in the previous two episodes.
Anyways, beyond some very obvious plotholes, the episode was at least entertaining. Depressing though and not particularly likable, but at least not boring. Let's see what happens next week.

It just gets worse and worse. Like there was no need to dedicate 5 episodes to being a parallel/alternate universe. Like just show us what happened after archie found the bomb under the bed. Like come on now. Only good thing that happened was Nick being taken to hell.
Never laughed that much in a while

I am honestly speechless, Riverdale is literally everything at this point but predictable.
When Raphael shows up and those angel noises come in, I can't. This was a masterpiece.
Whoever wrote this fanfiction deserves a raise. Pure comedy.

I find it hilarious that all of the reviews are saying that this story was so much better but I hate to break it to you guys, this is ripped straight from the show Supernatural.
None of this stuff is original, the "Rivervale" arc totally separates us from Riverdale eliminating any kind of connection to the show that we might have had before as none of these people have any of the memories that we do!
They've basically made a brand new show but they ripped the story right from Supernatural and it's laughable, none of this has anything to do with the show we've enjoyed thus far (well, let's face it ... aside from the musical episodes).
Lucifer shows up to claim souls sold by people years ago (Supernatural did it) Angel shows up to help (Supernatural did it) "Big battle" looming between heaven and hell, on earth (Supernatural did it) Good guys trick the devil (Supernatural did it) Weird immediate belief in all things supernatural, confronted by the devil and not even phased by it (almost every character in Riverdale, no characters in Supernatural thank christ.)
They picked a good show to rip from and still butchered it.
Sorry but this season thus far goes amongst all of the musicals (especially the recent ones, oh lord.)
They kept the characters exactly the same as if from Riverdale but with none of the backstory which really annoyed me; I was excited for more Riverdale and this was a huge disappointment.
Imagine they released this new Dexter: New Blood season but Dexter had complete memory loss and the show was set in "Miavi" instead of Miami, where everything was just totally reset... It'd be absolutely insane of them to even think about it...
It annoyed me when Archer did the whole Coma arc with weird stories in weird places and even with the humour of Archer I couldn't enjoy bits of it, but at least they had okay writing for those seasons.
Now that he's back, I love it - I really hope Riverdale Season 7 brings the same satisfaction. I'm probably going to watch the last episodes but I am not expecting to enjoy them.
Also, I swear to god if they do another musical in this season I will scream.

Hasn't been this good in a LONG time

The current 5-episode arc has actually been better than the past two seasons in terms of writing and creativity. Using the character of Jughead as a Rod Serling-type host seemed a bit hokey, but it's worked well for a series that grew tired after its second season.
Though I'm a little disappointed that the devil character (Louis Cypher) in this episode wasn't played by Tom Ellis, who played the character with more glee.

This was good enough!

I am honestly surprised how good this ep was. It had mystery, story and it was not boring at all. I enjoyed every scene in this episode and The Devil as well. Keep it up, this one was the best one so far from RiverVale for me 😈
Lou Cypher comes to RiverVale

I really don't get why everyone is hating on these episodes. They don't really have much of an effect on the actual season this being a "5-episode event" and all.
Veronica sending Nick St. Claire to Hell was *chef's kiss* I think both musical numbers were really good. I think that they need to give Kevin some more musical numbers becasue he has an amazing voice.
I can't believe how easy it was to get Kevin's soul I was so shook when Betty started stabbing "TBK" and then it turned out to be Glen.
Jughead made ANOTHER STUPID DECISION I can't believe that Betty buried Glen's body UNDER HER HOUSE!!!!!!!!
Was shoooooooooooook when Veronica decided to send Reggie to Hell.
