workplace and art

This is an Italian documentary about the legendary Uffizi Gallery in Florence. The English title is "Inside the Uffizi". The people speaks both Italian and English. The building was opened in 1581 for the Medici administration and the top floor became an art gallery for the family. This is some behind-the-scenes with a bit of following the tourists and looking at the art. It's a lot of the employees doing their jobs and dealing with the continuing everyday problems of the museum. It's a workplace documentary and an art documentary. The Medusa talk is fascinating and I like the kids being a part of it. The whole documentary can feel a bit scattered as it follows so many people, each with their own projects. It needs a singular thing to hold the attention or maybe it could do a day in the life of the museum.
