Decent film with smirks and laughs.

Movie with a comical sense in every situation. My personal opinion is that the movie didn't have a strong climax. Sivakarthikeyan has done what he's been doing the best. Making a bold statement that we can go and watch movie with our family and movie is filled with 30% of English dialogues leaves my mom in a bit of confusion. She wasn't able to understand few things in the movie. She was able to get the overall gist of the movie. My father said that ,"how long will he be doing movies in his safe zone" - A typical movie watcher's million dollar question. Good thing that they mentioned that movie is Anudeep style of comedy which worked in most of the areas. Songs were not that catchy. Callback to previous movies and songs were hilarious. One time watch movie.

Terrible for theatrical release!

Movie should've released on OTT. Film had no hype since the beginning.

Idk why Sivakarthikeyan chose to do this film. To be honest, I didn't like Don, wonder how it collected 125cr.

After Doctor, it was very clear that Sivakarthikeyan had potential to give a solid entertainer without overdoing comedy.

This film is just not up to the level to release in theatres.

Prince had no content, bad album, simple storyline.

People would enjoy this movie if it was telecasted in TV's for free.

Sivakarthikeyan please stop selecting mediocre scripts, you have a big market. Use it properly!

Full length comedy movie where the comedy didn't workout anywhere. There is no comic sequence and no catchy screenplay.

They took the funny story line but the presentation failed miserably. The one liners are supposed to be a fire cracker in this kind of movie, but most of the time they just failed as cringe.

If new face acted in the lead role, then it might be worked out somewhat, the expectations in SK and Director spoiled the whole fun.

There are totally two scenes worth watching all others are just below par.

Big letdown from director after Jaathi Ratnalu and Actor after Don.

You might as well watch some old movies from YouTube or jabardast.

While going in, I did expect that the movie will not have a head or a tail and I knew this is going to be just some crazy comedy without a logical story line but this movie managed to disappoint me even after having low expectations. If jathi ratnalu is 10, this one is probably 0.5. The comedy style works out in the beginning but then it gets old real fast. Only a mad man would laugh again and again for the same kind of jokes. Atleast jabardast jokes are a lot better than this one. I think the director/writer has clearly taken audience for granted. We can't laugh at the same jokes forever dude!!

Please save yourself some headache and don't even watch this movie on OTT. You will thank me later.

Legend Sathyaraj sir, after BAHUBALI 1 & 2 definitely this film is going to be a benchmark 2 you sir.. kindly mind your fans of 3 decades.. ... In Don movie.. Siva played a worst student role which all having shown ultimate level of bad manners in the name of comedy.. and giving worst and evil new ideas to teenager people who are in class room, now he played as a social teacher with love arrow.. siva.. please do dood present good or QUIT. This movie maker presents the ticket payers a worst film by calling it an entertainment!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

Worst Movie

Very bad story, screenplay even worse. Just a copy of the movies I watched in the past few years. It would have been better if a little more attention had been paid to the script. Although there is a lot of comedy, it felt very bad that none of the comedy could make the audience laugh. The constant pinky love scenes make the audience feel like the movie will end soon. A film that does not value the audience's time or money is a fact of this year. In this period when Tamil films are progressing well, it is very painful to see films like this that cannot be digested. Waste of time and money.

What is the Story of The Flim. This Film Doesn't Contains a Proper Story. Screenplay One of the Worst Screenplay I Would Ever Seen. The Characters are Talking Talking Talking.... Continuously and Some Clingy And Cringe Comedies. Its Enough daa! Anudeep.

Next- Uh 'Superstar' Sivakarthikeyan Doctor is a Okyish Movie - Becomes a Blockbuster Because of the 'Nelson's' Dark Comedy Don is also a better Movie Because Of the Sentimental Climax -Blockbuster.

But This flim Doesn't contains comedy and a Story.

This is not at all movie to be released acting is worst. Acting same as like all the other actors doesn't make you an actor. Need to learn acting firat and no story at all simply doing funny things doesn't even make us laugh at the theater. Even liger can be watched 2 times compared to this. Should choose a good script and work on that without knowing any thing on that script and doing something like kalakkapovathu yaaru show is the tv doesn't require a theaterical release and please can sit and watch the comedy show in their homes this diwali and can laugh atthat on this movie there is nothing.

A mindless mad fun entertainer . Don't expect any story or plot , yes movie completely had silly jokes and exaggerated comedies but I completely enjoyed . Personally most of the Comedy worked well for me . Especially Sathyaraj and SK combo after Vartha Padatha Valibar Sangam rocks . First half was average and okayish . Second half was good , last 15 mins was insane . Not a great fan of Thaman's Prince album , but literally liked it in theater watch , especially opening credits music 🔥 . Performance wise everyone did their job well . Overall a mindless , mad , silly and exaggerated Comedy movie I really enjoyed it , hope family audience gonna like it .

Did a mistake of seeing this movie in a theater. I am sure there are less painful ways to die.

Shouldn't have dated to watch this after knowing how cringy Jathiratnaalu was.

They couldn't have made it more bad even if they planned to.

For some reason the British characters in this movie have some weird accent which is not British for sure.

Director tried to inject his stupid humor into every single scene and the problem is its not funny.

Telugu directors were known for great comedy flicks. What a shame that these Jabardast era movies are ruining the comedy legacy.

Never going to see another movie directed by this cringy dude.

Celebrating humanity

At times when strong wave of patriotic movies is ruling at the box office, coming up with a storyline that puts humanity over patriotism itself a bold move. Kudos to the filmmaker for coming up with a subject like this.

The film definitely has its downsides. The main conflict is not strong and this makes the story weak. SK and Satyaraj are superb in their roles. And Jessica's acting is far better than many Mumbai heroines doing Tamil films. Music is ok.

Loved the one liners in the film. Better screenwriting would have definitely made this movie a cult classic. SK needs to be lauded for doing this film keeping his mass action image aside. Anudeep, for me, this one is better than your Jathiratnalu movie.

Quick laugh and disposable jokes, not bad.

I was too hyped for the movie after watching the trailer, which had 1. Peppy songs.

2. Witty comedy.

3 Ever charming Sivakarthikeyan.

4. Beautiful Maria.

The movie had everything.

1. Songs were good and not a ear or eye sore. It'll make you listen to them on repeat after you watch the movie.

2. Witty comedy in the lines of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam types (at least 70% of it) which is superbly enjoyable and laugh.

3. SK breezes through this character, such a easy one to play, thought will not become one of his best, suits him very well.

4. Maria justified her role, sure when she speaks tamil it's a little bit cringey, but there is no other way to executive this as the story needs it.

Overall could have been better, but what they have presented to us as a package is more than enough for the ticket price. This is not a movie to enlighten us or a pan india blockbuster effort, it's a good festival laugh with family and friends and forget afterwards, and we need movies like this.

it is not a film but a spoof

The worst of SK, one of the worst Tamil movies ever made.

This film should probably be called a spoof and not a movie, it should probably go into some tv show and definitely doesn't deserve a theatre

watching this film fully is a pathetic experience, it is way better to watch some tv serial

SK's career graph was growing exponentially and this film is not a speed breaker but a deadly trap.

Luckily i didn't go to a theatre to watch it

I don't intend to spend any more time writing anything about this crap.

And after reading the short above, if you still feel like watching it, then best of luck ;)

I'm writing this review as the film is gearing towards its climax on the screen and I can safely say that this is the most disastrous film of the year.

Anbu, a careless teacher (?!), falls in love with his British colleague. As usual, the society intervenes in their life, demanding a message.

That said, the movie is a massacre of comedy genre. Pop culture references, pointless dialogues or intentionally cringe moments didn't seem to have an impact on the audience, who are left bored and yawning to all extents.

Not a single element stands out, that makes the film praiseworthy. You can always watch this film on television or on OTT when its being broadcast. Don't waste your money.

If you thought Sivakarthigeyan's Doctor movie was good and decided to give this a try, YOU ARE MAKING A GRAVE MISTAKE.

There is no storyline whatsoever, the characters are so fake and forced and I have just wasted 2 hours of my life that I will never be able to get back.

The songs were TERRIBLE, the jokes were so lame and pathetic. People were talking and were on their phones in the theatre.

Who approved this movie? How did someone even think such a story is worth making?

If you thought Sivakarthigeyan's Doctor movie was good and decided to give this a try, YOU ARE MAKING A GRAVE MISTAKE.

Sk's Another Disaster Film

Anbu (Siva Karthikeyan) is a school teacher who lives in pondicherry with his father Ulaganathan (Sathyaraj). Jessica from Cambridge comes to his school and he fells in love with her. But Ulaganathan hates british as his ancestors were made slaves by them. Similarly, Jessica's father hates Anbu as he is an Indian. How Anbu won the heart of Jessica and also his father forms the rest of the story?

Anudeep has stuck to his strength and has played sensibly. He has entirely relied on comedy as both himself and siva karthikeyan are known for it. Right from the word go, the movie is just delivering countless laughters. There are several one liners which would bring the roofs down for sure. The whole movie is nothing but Siva Karthikeyan's one man show. After SK, it is sathyaraj who delivers yet another solid role. Premji as a comical villain scores after these two. Rest of the characters are just fillers.

Really, Bad Inspiration movie, I don't like.

One Word: Trash I have seen this movie in Telugu Language Pros: SK, Maria and Sathyaraj Performance were Ok Cons: Cringe and Childish Jokes Worst Music Anudeep Writing Lag The movie was almost full cringe jokes and dialogues. Director Anudeep had just shown me the worst comedy for an Average Concept. The Music was not good at all. The BGM was ok. But I wasn't able bear the jokes in the theatre some were liking it, but this is not for me. If you like childish jokes, you can give it a watch. I would not recommend it at all. SK and Maria Performance were ok but there were no emotional connections between them. Writer and Director Anudeep were biggest minus of the Film. If the jokes were as good as Jathi Rathnalu it would be a good movie.

I only went to this movie because of my FRIENDS. Those idiots.

Lacklustre movie Packed with a medicore performance of cast better skip this one for your own good

First of all,The advantage of Rom-com is people never expect it to be logically correct. They just want entertainment and this movie even fails to give that. By far,I confidently say that this movie is the worst film of 2022 which was solely hinges on SK's popularity. Talk about SK,His sense of humor was not the same which we witnessed in his early part of career along with that nowadays his jokes becoming more cringey and forced. He hardly emote other expressions. The actress Maria was just eye-appealing nothing much more than that. Most of the time the unnecessary scenes placed in the middle of the movie is not tolerable.out of 2hr 23 min movie,only around 20 min are really worth tehe hype. Rest of the scenes including climax are just fillers.

SK's Expermental Film

As usual Rom-Com Drama. When we analyse the style of the comedy, it must be different from Sivakarthikeyan previous movies, we can observe that the non-related response would be given as an answer for any conversation. Worked out well in some places by keeping us laugher. While making these kind of movies, they have to be very clear in writing the dialogues interestingly, it will make us to feel engaged. As like Kamal Hassan and Crazy Mohan Combo. Scenes needed to be written even more better for right outcome. Sivakarthikeyan tried as much as he can with his performance, but there were very less impressive comedy tracks. Thaman Music and songs hold the film and the audience. Maria performed like a pro actress. Bottle gourd, Humanity Comedy - good. In the presence of Pro Actors like Sathya Raj, Ananda Raj, they didn't use them well to perform in the comedy, because of improper writing of dialogues and scenes for them. Premji Suited for that role, character written well and he performed well. Had a good theme and Message, but it wasn't executed greatly in the presence of unclear dialogues. Some sentimental scenes screened greatly. Overall it's an experimental Rom-Com film of Sivakarthikeyan.

Watchable film for all family audience. Go without any expectation, free your mind, don't search for logics, laugh.

Time waste

I had a great hope in this movie but this movie disappointed me in many ways the movie is not worth watching . Only thing which was good was the comedy of the movie and acting of the actors is good if we ignore the heroine others did very good job in acting , the movie feels slow on the middle and the climax is not that good and story is also week in this. If you are the fan of hero then you may like the comedy of this movie.

Song is not at all good there is nothing good other than comedy in some place you may feel cringey.

Other wise this not worth watching.

My suggestion is to watch this movie in ott don't waste your money.

A new genre comedy film to kollywood

First of all not worked was one liners that takes much place and screen play The best thing you can be burst into laughter within the first 5 minutes Sivakarthikeyan acting is best as usual and every one done their role very good Plot may be liked by some group and not liked by some groups but the thing is a new genre of comedy film has entered the cinefield this film will be later praised by the movie lovers for its unique creation and try.

Overall a well entertaining comedy film for family audience and childrens Director anudeep done his best although he his from different state Musics are well syncing to plot but could be better.

A worth watch movie.

Sivakarthikeyan, Anudeep's Comic Caper Works Only in Parts, Misses The Target !!!

The central conceit of Prince is something that seems quirky enough for a comedy, but the film we get feels like an uneven YouTube skit. The plot revolves around Anbu (Sivakarthikeyan), a teacher in a small town, who falls in love with Jessica (Maria Ryaboshapka), a British girl. The catch here is that his father, a very progressive man, is unable to accept this romance because his own father fought against the British. Perhaps Anudeep and Sivakarthikeyan felt that this silly line would translate into something truly funny, like it did with Doctor. But sadly, here, things fall flat.

There are a few stretches that offer a glimpse at the promise this subject might have presented to the makers. Like a scene involving bottle gourd, a go-for-broke pj-filled scene at a police station and the climax. But in between such moments of inspired silliness is not inanity but dead air. The cast is game enough and does it's best, but with the material hardly offering anything to hold on to, they can only try. Even Sivakarthikeyan, who turns on the comic persona from his early films that made him a star, is only able to just about keep the film from sinking.

Some of the one-liners do land, thanks to the earnest performance from Sathyaraj. His chemistry with Siva works to a decent extent, and is one of the few highlights of the movie. Maria's Tamil debut is neat; her character of a British girl who has been settled in Tamil Nadu is convincing. The primary issue with the film is its predictable screenplay which offers no surprise and novelty. The conflict is superficial because of which the problems of lead actors hardly bother us. The film tries to be partly serious and partly slapstick. This constant shift in the tone leaves us confused.

Prince might work for fans of Jathi Ratnalu and those who love slapstick comedies. Sivakarthikeyan tries his best to single-handedly shoulder most of the sequences that he appears in. But the lack of a coherent screenplay is evident throughout the movie.

Worst director of the decade

Worst direction from south India. Very cheap comedy and no script in the story. Me Anudeep please don't make any movies here after with your half kodi brain. You unnecessarily came to Tamil industry to spoil good actor sivakarthikeyan he is upcoming very good hero. But you are doing with your worst direction and cheap promotion for the movie. I think you doesn't have any sense to make this type of comedy in the movie and we are spending bucks for this type of comedy?? If you have any sense please stop making films for public health.

What a such embarrassing to spend this much time on you. We are eager to watch nice movies so many times but this type of movie will disappoint us.

Director thinks everyone is stupid like him

I watched movie in hotstar .

Felt wasted 1hr (Fast Forwarded) . So much stupidity , no sense of humor .

Director needs some common sense to make films , he thinks everyone is stupid like him.

No story , no emotion , no drama , no logic , no sense of humor .

Suggestion to director : please change your mindset , come out of short film making . First write story then add comedy portion to it , don't do it reverse. Keep comedy out of serious situations and emotional situations . Add some sense dialogues . Don't make fun of sensitive topics .

I hope we get to see good movies from him . Not everyone gets chance to make films .

horrible movie ever see

Actually I dont like this actor now coz he is acting for movies like suitable for below 15yrs chilenden. His staritng movies very good and attractive. Ex:Ethir Neechal ,Velaikkaran, maan karate. These movies atleast can watch. I dont know these actors will read the story before acting. To me this is as usal horrible movies of his. Dont waste you time or mobey to watch these kind of movies. Another one "Don". Same as chilidsh movies. As a guy i dont watch these kind of movies. Same kind of jokes and talking talking talking. I think direcotr and actor should learn from other movies before making a movie.
