The CIA SWAT team shows up. They watch one of their own get run over. They don't shoot anybody and they let the van drive off? That is amateurish and stupid. I'm done with this series.

Warning: Spoilers
Langdon was given a 'phone by Ma'lakh at the offset. It has remained on his person from then. The battery without charge. The 'phone never used by Ma'lakh to simply locate where Langdon is at any given time. The CIA have Ma'lakh trapped in a car park - yet it is not sealed off - and he drives straight out. Not even an attempt to track, trace, stop the vehicle as it makes a getaway in the City.

Langdon and Sato team up. Langdon is stuck and he does not want to lie to Mal'akh.
Only Sato persuades Langdon to bluff a bit. It will buy more time.
Also Landon can do with the resources on offer from the CIA.
It looks Mal'akh is cornered at one point. There is no escape.
Then there is the moment from Die Hard 2. The baddies were not completely surrounded, there was an escape route.
It does not tell you much about the tactical analysis of the CIA.
