All of the cartoons featured in the Picture Machine number were all animated by either Fleischer Studios or its successor Famous Studios for Paramount Pictures from the mid-1930s to the late-1940s except one; the clip from Happy Days (1936) was animated by Ub Iwerks' studio for Celebrity Pictures.
The voice heard over the telephone as Stacy is talking is actually a sped up recording of T.S. Eliot reading "The Naming of Cats" from his poetry book Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.
