A man about to die tells a story to his closest friend. A story in flash back scheme. I can say that's a gangster story. It is about a mob leader who tries to escape on a ship. He meets a beautiful girl, under a new name, in the purpose to be forgotten once and for all. Aboard the ship, on the lounge an old man a doctor is presented to the gangster. The old man gets the whole thing at first sight; he knows what it is about. The fugitive is aware of that and the two talk about that, just between the two of them. The old man becomes rapidly a danger for the escapee...
