- The tables are turned when production begins on Liz's new talk show, "Dealbreakers," and she experiences what it's like to walk a mile in Jenna's shoes. Jack, dealing with pressure from Devin, calculates how to make "Dealbreakers" a success. Meanwhile, Tracy takes on the ultimate Hollywood challenge in order to prove his commitment to his wife. Everyone pitches in to help Tracy reach his goal, including Kenneth, Dotcom, Grizz and even Whoopi Goldberg.—NBC Publicity
- Liz and Jack are on the set of the Dealbreakers TV show. Jack admits that things are starting to happen for Liz, which leads to her fantasizing about a life in which she has blonde hair, a baby and a life with her handsome astronaut husband Mike Dexter.
Pete interrupts Liz' fantasy because Jenna has locked herself in her dressing room. Jenna is upset that she looks fat in a crayon picture drawn by her niece. Tracy is able to coax her out.
Tracy tells Liz he has a hole in his heart because he does not have a daughter. Tracy forces Liz to tell his wife Angie he wants a daughter. To prove he can be reliable, Tracy offers to do the Christmas shopping.
Liz tells the writers she'll be gone this week working on her show. She puts Frank in charge. Devon Banks calls Jack and tells him that if the Dealbreakers show doesn't make money he will publicly humiliate Jack.
While shopping at Yakov's Nubian Bling Explosion for something for his wife, Tracy is distracted by a gaudy EGOT necklace (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) formerly owned by Phillip Michael Thomas. He forgets about getting a gift for his wife and instead buys the necklace.
Jack suggests Liz get Lasik surgery to avoid wearing glasses.
Angie is furious Tracy bought the EGOT necklace instead of presents for the family. She says she'll have a daughter only after he wins all four awards.
Spaceman performs Liz' surgery using a "LASIG" machine. It seems to have worked. He makes a comment about her hair.
Frank seems as if he is starting to act like Liz, starting with wolfing down some ham cold cuts.
Dot Com tells Tracy that only composers have won all of the EGOT awards. Kenneth says Tracy must compose a song so good that it will be able to capture all the awards. "All I have to do is create the most popular song of all time," Tracy says.
Liz shows up with a brutal haircut. Frantically, Jack goes to Jenna looking for help with Liz. She tells him he has created a second Liz, Performer Liz, that must be coddled.
Frank runs a meeting with Liz-like hair, glasses and clothes. He shrieks "What is happening to me?"
Liz's opening title video shoot goes poorly. The high-def camera makes her look like a witch. Devon Banks sends her flowers with a note stating that FEMA paid for them, because the show is going to be a disaster. Jack pumps Liz up by telling her she's better than Oprah, which sends her running off. She calls Jack from her dressing room, into which she has locked herself.
Tracy has Jenna help him attempt to record a song. It doesn't go well.
Jack goes to Liz's dressing room. Liz says she wants to shut the show down.
Tracy goes to Whoopi Goldberg for advice and asks why getting the EGOT is so hard. She says the key is to believe in the projects and the awards will follow.
Jenna arrives to help Jack get Liz out. She suggests they take the door off its hinges. Jack asks for Regular Liz to convince Performer Liz to get on the stage. Liz talks to herself in the mirror which results in her crying tears out of her mouth (the result of the LASIG surgery).
Tracy sings Angie his song. She thinks it's sweet and wants to make a baby.
Liz returns to her office. She tells Jack he never should have said anything about her hair. Jack sold the opening titles Liz recorded. They will now be played whenever a TV is on in the background of a NBC soap opera. Frank comes in and kisses Liz over and over saying, "Don't ever leave me again."
