never knew it even existed - Not bad

Since we are dealing with Covid -19 it's easy to appreciate things you took for granted while watching the film. I think watching this movie years after it came out helps dismiss any blunders in the film and appreciate the movie for what it is.

Felipe does use a lot of his old sketches from his stand up so there's not much surprises, but anything else is funny enough. Given that he's solidified himself over the years, any harsh criticism is forgivable.

Perhaps I might have been a harsher critic before the pre covid world but it's a surprise treat like a last bag of flaming Cheetos you didn't know were still in the pantry.

No one can take away the fact that Felipe is hilarious. Unfortunately this movie just didn't do it for me. The acting is horrible and the film's music makes me cringe. Whoever mixed the music for this movie should never work on a movie again. It is obvious Felipe used all of his friends instead of casting people that can act or have ever worked on a movie before. Save your money and time. You are better off watching him do stand up..... same jokes. I must add though, the girl that played his sister in law is very funny. But poor Paul Rodriguez I guess he is not getting any work so he needs to say yes to whatever comes his way.
