- With the truth finally out in the open, the Finley-Cullens have made peace with each other. But things are far from over. Now, they must face their biggest challenge of all: find the missing drugs, reason with the shady buyers, and frame Jill - all the while hosting the yearly cop fundraiser. As the RCMP closes in, Lidia must step up and risk everything to save the Moonshine. Can she pull it off in time, and while in lederhosen?—CBC Gem
- With most secrets coming to light, the lives of the Finley-Cullens, with the exception of Nora and by association Terry in being officially back together, are falling apart. They are on the brink of losing the Moonshine to Jill, they don't have money or the drugs, and they have a dead body to get rid of. Lidia thus has no home in Nova Scotia or New York. Rhian has her own secret, which is only complicated by Colin's return, he who is caught between wanting to make the bust against the Finley-Cullens so that he can get out of his forensic accounting cubicle, against the fact that he may actually love Rhian. Ryan and Crystal have broken up over family allegiances and the issue of Colin. Finn's heart is broken in Foxton, yet discovers that he and Eleanor have no real home in New York either, at least if their mother isn't there. Things seem to be getting worse as Moira and the RCMP will soon be descending on the Moonshine to arrest the Finley-Cullens in the mounting evidence including the phoned in anonymous tip. Sammy having discovered the actual buyer of the drugs may at least fill in some of the missing pieces if they can only find the drugs. Everything seems like they will come to a head at the annual Foxton Police Department fundraiser hosted by the Finley-Cullens.—Huggo
