a retreat
Kirpianuscus5 September 2022
An eccentric idea becoming, scene by scene, more than acceptable.

First, because it touches familiar points of near reality, from Peter Pan syndrome, to the high level of insecurity to the desire to fix old traumas to a sort of radical form of refuge to the pragmatic rules of free market.

A man, driving to a retreat with a special offer. A last call and the submission in an universe lost in decades. But all are apparences and a very well crafted business . A forest as border between illusion who was comfortable reality and real life. A nice to touching story, impecable constructed, the note of absurd being covered by a sort of nostalgia and cold thrill.

Admirable job of Tom Nelis .
