Once again, following the BP Oil leak, the world's attention is on New Orleans-Louisiana and once again it is the result of a disastrous event. Michael Agresta, the producer of 30 Days in the Bowl, has set out to capture the real New Orleans: the vibrant and creative city that welcomes all and flourishes from its multitude of flavours and influences. Meeting with Artists, Musicians, Photographers and a whole host of characters, Michael find's a city in renaissance that has bounced back from its post-Katrina nightmare with an unmatched verve. A city that is rightfully proud of its famed Mardi Gras but goes far beyond Bourbon Street. Now with government support giving over new creative space to the arts, the city is drawing artists from all over the world, and the city that lost everything is on the rise. 30 Days in the Bowl takes us behind the scenes of this 'new-wave' and puts a human face on the city that is all too often on the news for the wrong reasons.
