There were at least a couple laughs in this one, so that automatically makes it a little bit better than some of the past few episodes, but this is still not the kind of Dead to Me we have come to expect from the earlier seasons.
Ben's behavior was simply too over the top here. Maybe mildly amusing for a little bit, but there are only so many times that you can utilize a character laughing and try and extract laughs from it.
I was worried the entire episode was just going to be pillow talk with the two main couples though, so thankfully that is not what it ended up being for the whole 30 minutes.
