One thing I've noticed about Neighbours over the last several months is that everyone I disagree with is written as being "right" and everyone I think is talking sense apologises, backs down and/or changes their mind.As here, when Dan and Toadie allow themselves to be swayed by empty rhetoric. You just know that despite Toadie's warnings of a long hard fight it's going to be one of the shortest cases in legal history. And it's still not clear what Libby's trying to achieve. It's great to see Tim again though and to enjoy his quiet demolition of Toadie's arguments even though you suspect he'll be on the losing side eventually.
Susan and Karl's "comedy subplot" surprises by actually being mildly amusing and not as embarrassing as it could have been.Mainly because they're the ones that are embarrassed and not the audience.
The Parker/Napiers celebrate the arrival of the new baby and the involvement of Donna and Kate provides some nice moments.Steve and Rebecca get a good moment when they check out the nursery;either Rebecca was worrying unduly or Steve did a lot of redecorating in a short time because Bridget loves it.And we get the name India.Could have been worse.
