Cody explores a glitch that lets you get a level 100 Pokémon before you challenge Brock. The glitch is performed using an escape glitch (via wild encounter) from a specific trainer in Viridian Forest. You can then battle a wild Pokémon, and upon re-entering Viridian Forest, you will battle whatever Pokémon is relevant to the special stat of the last Pokémon you battled. You can then utilize another glitch to get that Pokémon to level 100 instantly.

Cody discovers that filling in his Pokedex can be much easier using the famed Gen 1 Missingno. glitch. He also discusses that this can be used to add 128 to the 6th item in your inventory, which will definitely come in handy for duplicating Master Balls, getting unlimited money, and more. The journey continues from Cinnabar Island back to Viridian City, where Cody acquires his final gym badge.

Cody ascends to the Indigo Plateau to find that Brandon has become the Kanto League Champion moments before he arrived. He then seeks out Mewtwo, who is rumored to be hiding out in Cerulean Cave. Then while using the Missingno. glitch and a separate Pokémon encounter glitch with the trainer near Nugget Bridge, Cody is able to fill 150 Pokémon into his Pokedex. The Pokedex (voiced by original anime voice actor Nick Stellate) then talks to Cody for the first time to congratulate him.

Cody receives a call from Professor Oak (Stuart Zagnit) to showcase his "complete" Pokedex, only to find that he is missing the mythical Pokémon Mew. After swirling rumors of Mew being located under a truck outside of Vermilion City, Cody chases down an Amazon Prime employee (Blake De Barro) to no avail. While researching, his Pokedex (Nick Stellate) has no data on Mew, but he finally discovers a workaround. It won't be easy. Cody must acquire a glitched item called 8F , and to do so, he must gather a very specific list of Pokémon after encountering Mew through the special stat Ditto glitch. He then must use 8F with and exhaustive list of items to transform his Mew into the only Virtual Console event Mew, and then finally pass it into the Pokémon Bank. It's gonna be a wild ride, so hang in there.

Although Cody recently completed his full Pokedex, he has an urgent feeling that something has been missed. He then realizes that to truly finish his Gen 1 experience, he will need to find more information on an elusive Pokémon tied to a popular N64 title, Pokémon Stadium. As he sets out, Mike Pollock (The Narrator) announces Cody's departure. To teach his Pikachu surf, Cody will also have to dive into Pokémon Yellow Version, progressing through the game to the point where he can access Cinnabar Island. He will be checking out the differences in glitches for Yellow Version, including the Level 100 glitch and the Any Pokémon glitch to obtain Missingno. After many numerous hours of Pokémon Stadium (to Cody's great dismay) and several grinds in Yellow Version, Cody finally teaches his Pikachu surf and gets to access the mini-game Pikachu's Beach . It's a wild ride, so buckle in ladies and gentleman.

Cody decides to take a look back through every single Generation 1 event Pokémon. While today, event Pokémon are fairly easy to obtain and can be downloaded over Wi-Fi, things ran a little bit differently back in '99. From crazy Pokémon tours to one-off download days at the mall, to even a Pokémon World Championship in Sydney, Australia, this video briefly covers some of the most insane Pokémon events that have ever been held. One such event even culminated in a literal Pokémon pirate ship entering Sydney Harbor and sparking a live performance with a Team Rocket battle. Cody also discusses the special distribution machines (i.e. Mew Machines ) crafted specifically for these events with ex-Nintendo representative Jeremy Hepworth. Not to mention the numerous pieces of Pokémon merch and history that have been long forgotten over time. There is a lot to unpack here, so enjoy this long episode into the late 90s.

The first series of Every Pokémon Ever comes to a close. It is now 1999, and in the Celadon City Restaurant, Cody runs into his childhood friend Will. When posed with the question of his ultimate goal, Cody finds that his true desire is to one day become a Pokémon master - To be the very best, like no one ever was. After breaking out into song as he reflects on his journey and all of the Pokémon friends he caught along the way, Cody receives a phone call from none other than Jason Paige , the original Pokémon theme song singer, to wish him and fans everywhere a happy 25th anniversary. The adventure doesn't end here, however. It is only beginning.
