Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans is staying in business with discovery+. The paranormal investigator, executive producer and filmmaker has signed a new three-year deal with the streaming platform. Under the pact, Bagans will star in and produce over 100 hours of supernatural and horror content for the discovery+ portfolio, including new seasons of the hit series Ghost Adventures, semi-scripted series The Haunted Museum, along with additional specials and untitled creative projects in the works.

Exclusive: Cream Productions, the company behind CNN’s The Story of Late Night, is looking to become more environmental conscious with a series of iniatives.
The company, which also makes All or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs for Amazon and The Haunted Museum and A Ghost Ruined My Life with Eli Roth for Discovery+, has launched a green initiative with the goal of being carbon negative this year.
It has hired Angelica Siegel as Sustainability Strategy Manager.
The move makes Cream one of the first to invest significant resources into creating a dedicated in-house team to enhance its sustainability efforts.
Siegel, who has consulted for the likes of Unicef and Jewish National Fund of Canada, will oversee and co-ordinate the company’s green efforts as it is on track to be carbon negative across all of its corporate and production operations throughout 2021.

There’s a terrifying amount of scare-centric programming this October, whether it’s being broadcast or streamed.
Paramount+ has announced its “Peak Screaming” package, which will encompass scary movies, kids shows and originals. Amazon, of course, is releasing four original Blumhouse films this month: Bingo Hell, Black as Night, The Manor and Madres. Peacock may have the largest cache of Halloween goodies, none more tasty than the latest installment of that most seasonally-appropriate of franchises, Halloween Kills. It debuts on October 15 on Peacock and in theaters.
