Story spotlights a grippingly charismatic and impregnably confident young lad called Kevin. Although imbued with an inward outcry for justice, his hands ironically metes out on others the same injustice his heart seeks to abolish thus setting him on a dangerously dark path that only a divine intervention could put an end to. He often comes across as cold, ruthless and menacing but his real motives will leave you guessing.
Meanwhile, Jerome, Kevin's arch rival in the 'ends' is plotting how to outshine and if possible hurt him. He jealously covets the aura and respect he sees around Kevin and resorts to violence. To break Kevin's impenetrable space, Jerome must find a devious means of attack that he hopes Kevin won't see coming.
Through Kevin's progressive friendship with a new female friend, a surprising turn of events begin to emerge. As time goes by, Kevin must face his demons, one of which is fuelled by a feeling of abandonment by his estranged father and his mother's abusive boyfriend. His dad's departure from his world when he was only a toddler filled him with nothing but bitterness. In fact, he can't stand the very mention of his father's name, although inwardly he yearns for his love and embrace. He blames his mother Nikao for it and doesn't hesitate to rub it in. Nikao, on the other hand, is also battling her own demons of depression and zero self-worth while desperately trying to keep her relationship with boyfriend Mugabe who is nothing short of a brute.
At this point, Kevin must make a choice - stay hardened, amend his ways, or take to drastic measures. Everyone is trying to prove a point, but really the big question is - is there actually one?
