Lackluster. Honestly, episodes 3 & 4 were the best out of Armageddon.
ldamena15 December 2021
To be honest, the only thing I enjoyed this episode was Mia. I was super excited to see her and her character didn't disappoint. Kat is an excellent actress I really believe that she's Oliver and Felicity's daughter. There were some parts of the episode where I screamed: "Yep! That's Oliver alright!" XD. Then her slight comedic moments just like her mom. I wish she would get her spin off because she deserves it.

Ok. I lied .... Damien Darhk was another highlight, love his character growth & Neal is a great actor too. Mia & Darhk were the only reason I gave this ep a 6 the rest? BLEH.

Moving onto The Flash stuff--- Barry and Iris were super annoying this episode. Seriously someone needs to put in their brain that not all villains should be saved. But neither were as awful as Joe the man literally disgusted me this ep. I wanted to slap him for his stupidness ugh. PS. Iris really needs to keep her mouth shut and stop judging someone she didn't even really know. Anyway, I leave this event thinking maybe it's time for me to move on from The Flash. I find that I enjoy it less and less every time I watch. I'll give it one more chance when it comes back from hiatus, If I still dislike it as I do know, then I'll say goodbye.

Part 4 should be The finale of armageddon
carlc-5689015 December 2021
So this episode was as good as episode 1 or maybe episode 3. There was i something like and Something i dislike ok lets talk about The dislikes how did Mia Queen get to 2021 that does not make Any sense to me at all. To be honest The Mia stuff was just a waste in my opinion. And lets talk about Barry aswell. Barry thinks that Thawne is in prison forever in Argus but Thawne is The smartest person on The planet he knows how he Can get his speed back. Barry thinks his defeated forever which i didnt like. And The last issue i had was. How did Damien Darhks daugter get to 2021 that didnt make sense either. Ok so lets talk about things i like in this episode i really really love Tom Cavanaghs acting performance as The Reverse Flash wow i really like it. Also The despero vs The flash fight was One of The best fight in The flash just wow and i also loved The Golden Boots And by the Way i actually happy that Thawne didnt die because i want him to be The final main villian. So overall it was a solid episode for me. It was kinda a premiere episode Lol so ye i give it 8/10.

That awful CGI - if you think of it really

Warning: Spoilers
That fight The Flash vs Despero looked like a boy was playing with plastic toys fighting each other. I really don't understand why it wasn't done better :( I get the covid thing and budget limits, but nevertheless... Overall it was meant to be something greater after eps 3 and 4... We'll see how this goes on forwards. I hope for the better.

Much more hate then it truly deserves
jayflea16 December 2021
While i don't think this a 10/10 episode people have been giving this episode so much hate that I don't think it deserves. I think this episode is a 8.9/10 and just a fun flash episode with two pretty good villains. Thawne is always incredible and Tom Cavanuagh plays the role incredibly well. The only dumb part about this episode is when joe told Barry and iris to keep Thawne alive because Thawne going out in this episode would have been a perfect way to end the villain. All in all, great conclusion to a fun event!

Warning: Spoilers
I thought the episode was decent overall. Tom Cavanagh never disappoints as Thawne. I really enjoyed the battles between Flash and Despero and loved seeing Flash finally get the gold boots! It was wonderful to see Joe again; I've missed him so much!! I was less than thrilled at the news of Mia Queen appearing in this episode. It's obvious that she was shoehorned in for fan service. I never cared for her character on Arrow and would have much rather had Earth-2 Laurel Lance appear instead. Mia did not contribute anything to the resolution of Armageddon and this episode did next to nothing to continue her story. At times, I even forgot she was in the episode because she seemed to be missing in action. Although I'm hard on the character, I appreciated her entrance scene at CCPD and her interaction with Damien Darhk. I have a grudge against him for killing Laurel Lance, but Neal McDonough is always a joy to watch and his scene with Courtney Ford was incredibly touching. I'm definitely not liking the extreme overuse of Cecile's character or her powers. This episode had very little need for her involvement after Barry filled the team in on his experiences in Thawne's Reverse Flashpoint. Overall, this was not my favorite episode of Armageddon, but it was alright for what we got.

This episode was AWESOME. Only thing bad was the cgi (cw needs to give a bigger budget, honestly). The last 10 minutes were a bit boring but good. I'm happy they addressed the GA and the canaries ep cliffhanger. The fight scenes were really good. AND HE FINALLY GOT GOLDEN BOOTS. Overall, its an 8.5 or 9 for me.

Not really good finally
stormbolsenbroek15 December 2021
This last episode was my least favorit from all five. 3 and 4 were the best. 1 and 2 were also good. Story was bad. Fighting was better. Cliffhanger was not that interessting. I would have rather seen a new villain in that cliffhanger. And also, i am not really a fan of bart and nora showing up, doesnt make any sence. I hope the rest of season five will be better written than season 7 and 6.

How is this a 7.6?
theyokester16 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Once again I feel that the ratings of the show are being affected by people who continually hate on the show for no reason other than to follow a bandwagon. This episode should absolutely not be a 7.6, and that's a fact. Season 1 and 2 had far less happen in certain episodes but somehow they all managed to get over an 8.0. Yes this episode was not perfect by any means but It at least deserves above an 8.0. My personal rating for this episode is an 8.6/10. There were a lot of cool moments in this final episode, especially the conversations between Eobard, Caitlin and Barry. Not to mention that fight between Despero and Barry. Yeah the cgi was pretty meh, but it was a dope moment to see all of Barry's abilities nonetheless. Overall, please stop slandering the ratings of this show because you are too attached to the nostalgia of the first 2 seasons.

Barry was great in this episode, him soloing desparo was acc pretty sick, was like watching the early seasons again for a moment. Mia was ight ig, Iris has acc been fantastic this season, the writers have *finally* found a way to make her character good & what she's supposed to be, the constant push of love love love down our throats by Eric Wallace is still annoying and cringey af, no surprise there, Thawne will obv be back in the final season so I'm glad they didn't go through w what I thought they would & put a nail in the coffin w that story arc.

Overall, a decent event, 6.9/10 Hopefully something of the sort carries out throughout the season w a bit more "Umpf" 💯

Also Barry's kids are coming back...yay😐

Welcome back Eric Wallace...

Warning: Spoilers
I was as sure as the episodes after episode 4 was going to go downhill from that point. As I can see from other reviews and this episodes rating, it's not far from the truth, and I personally really disliked this episode. I mean we got good fight scenes, and good endings to Despero and Damien Darhk. The acting from certain actors/actresses was pretty good too but anything else is unnecessary, predictable and dumb.

Eobard reason for wanting to destroy Barry's life is so disappointing. They make him sound like a jealous lille **** . The whole plot with also discussing if they should kill him or not is pointless too, because we know Team Flash don't kill, even though Barry already have done it 5 times with other villains that deserved a redemption 1000x more than Eobard Thawne.

This episode just feels like shouldn't exist. 4-parts should have been enough instead of 5.

Satisfying conclusion to an eventful storyline.
prometheus1987015 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Part 5 gets straight to point with the story that's been put forward...... To save Thawne or not from being erased from the timeline FOREVER. This episode feels like an elongation of this event really. Armageddon should have ended at part 4,but i guess the writers felt that Despero needs a proper ending.

It's entertaining for most of the episode. Great seeing Mia back. Barry is faced with the dilemma of whether to save thawne or not. During this time he thawne have a nice conversation and we get more details about thawne's origins which was pretty exciting.

Thawne and Caitlin interact with each other too, and thawne gets on Caitlin's nerves by telling her how she never moved on after Ronnie.

Despero threatens barry that he'll take matters into his own hands if barry doesn't kill team flash. Barry initially decides to kill thawne, but Joe talks sense into barry saying that he should save lives of everyone not just the good ones.

There is a lot of debate about what Joe said, but what Joe said was correct in my opinion. Sure he would kill thawne in a heartbeat but the weight of this decision would fall on barry and it would not have a good effect on him.

Despero puts Mia queen in a psychic transe to make sure that team flash can't save thawne within the certain time before he becomes non existent while fighting flash.

Barry gets the golden boots and they play a part in beating despero. Barry then saves thawnes life but at the cost of his speed. Thawne is obviously not happy that he lost his connection to the negative speed force and is now locked up in argus. But it's not the end for him, I'm sure of it.

This all happened within 35 minutes, so it was a bit rushed and didn't slow down a bit so the intensity wasn't very high but nevertheless it was enough to feel like an ending.

In the last 7-8 minutes we get a nice small party from team flash celebrating their victory, one more Chester and allegra scene occurs and once again I didn't like it. But now that i think about it, cringe wasn't the reason I didn't like it, it was because chester and allegra don't fit at all as a couple and they just make things very awkward by not being able to talk to each other without being shy.

The episode ends on a small cliffhanger, with bart and nora appearing in a small photo taken in the year 2013-14 indicating a time travel problem. A good episode with a bit less intensity than the previous ones. Can't wait to see Eddie again in episode 6. I hope the writers use this hiatus to make their stories interesting with a proper conduct of direction.

Armageddon overall review: A nice eventful story ark which was needed, to spark the interest in viewers to look forward to seeing the show which was dying after a terrible season 7. While all the episodes were nice, there were a couple of plot holes and non logical things that happened with time travel. The scenes between chester and allegra were not at all important. In episode 4 they could have used the crossover superheroes better. All in all it was entertaining to say the least and hope the next part of the season is worth the wait.

Rating of Armageddon event: 8.5/10.

Ranking every Flash episode: Armageddon Part 5
lbramson21 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Honestly, I think 7/10 is generous, but I think 6/10 is harsh so idk what to rate this one. There is good stuff in this episode. For example, Barry gets his gold boots which is awesome. Also, despite the dreadful CGI, the fight between Barry and Despero was pretty good. But holy moly, there are A LOT of glaring problems! First of all, why was Mia Queen even here? She did nothing the whole episode. But my biggest problem is the main plot itself. Fundamentally, this plot is flawed. Thawne comes to Barry asking for help. That's cool, I'm on board with that. It's still stupid that this event pretty much abandoned Despero, but I'm on board with this plot on paper. However, this is proof that execution is everything. Because oh my lord did they screw this up hard! Joe delivers these laughably bad speeches about why they should help Thawne. Which, this is fine, but it doesn't fit Joe's character. I get that Joe is a man of honor and a respected cop, but seriously?! This man just killed you! You, of all people, should be out for blood. It's so forced and I don't get it!

Good end to a rather underwhelming Crossover Event
ossamaijazkiani15 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Armageddon disappointed me.

Final episode was the saving grace. Ray Palmer , Jeff Pierce , Mia Queen , Damien Darhk justify their appearances while Ryan Wilder and Ryan Choi were complete wastes ( cuz they were from alternate timeline).

Hoping that we had enough of the Barry vs Thawne rivalry.

Final credit showing Bart and Nora in the CCPD pic , we shall find more in the coming 13 episodes.

My personal wish , the story of Mia Queen's quest to find William Clayton please be resolved. For this the Legends , Luke Fox and Lois Lane are available if CW executives want something to give to the fans for the show they could'nt agree on.

Tony Curran , excellent as Despero.

Warning: Spoilers
"Oh yeah let's let the man who's killed dozens of people including my mother live once again to inflict pain on more people and kill more people" - Barry Allen. I don't understand how they don't learn from their mistakes. Wtf does Joe have anything to do with the choice of letting Thawn live or die? This show is so kiddy.

And Cecile is SO ANNOYING. Doesn't she have a job or a CHILD? Why is she always hanging out with these kids? Get a life, she's so pathetic and useless.

It's so simple to just not help Thawn, a wanted sociopathic serial killer. And isn't there a death penalty? What's the max amount of people you can kill before you get the death penalty. Trash part 5, the previous parts were better.

... That's It? ... Okay.
demigodshmurda16 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Yeah, the Flash writers clearly have no idea how to do a finale. They stumbled into season 6's finale being pretty good on accident, then ruined those storylines in season 7. Both of season 7's finales were bad. Now, Armageddon is over, and it ended in the lamest way possible. A big cgi fight with some obviously plasticky cgi that no longer has the excuse of being "alright for the time" like season 1 did, a lame continuation to Mia Smoak's story that she could've and probably *should've* been able to handle on her own, a retcon of Reverse Flash's origin story, and Damien Darhk's fourth Arrowverse death. You'd think that some of this was interesting, or even rage inducing, but the writers somehow managed to make this episode as boring as humanly possible.

Also, no bingo this week. I would've had it if I could've crossed off "Forgiving Known Murderers", but Damien Darhk's already been redeemed on Legends of Tomorrow, so I decided not to count it here.

Oh, and one more thing before I give my review of this episode, but I had to add a quick addendum to my review of "Armageddon, Part 4". I have a confession internet. I have judged an episode of The Flash too harshly. Despite the nonsense time travel logic and stupid filler, I actually did enjoy the episode. It's incredibly, incredibly stupid, and relies on the audience forgetting how time travel works, but in the context of the episode... Yeah, okay, sure. I can rock with the idea of Reverse Flashpoint. I *might* adjust my rating of the episode, but my thoughts on the nonsensical time travel logic and the overall laziness of the storytelling in my review will stay. The episode was lazily thought out and didn't really feel like a "dystopian future", but Thawne's determination to actually ruin Barry's life was very much still in character for him. So yeah, perhaps I judged "Armageddon, Part 4" too harshly. I apologize. Now onto my review of this week's episode.

The crux of the episode (supposedly) revolves around whether or not Barry should save Thawne's life. It's an interesting concept, but it results in, quite frankly, the lamest possible ending to Thawne's character we could've gotten. And even worse, it's all based around a retcon to Thawne's origin story, and another change to the way that time travel works on this show.

For starters, Eobard Thawne is not an anachronism or aberration in the timeline. He is not something that it's supposed to be present. This is because during season 7's "Heart of the Matter, Part 2", Barry and Iris's love was strong enough for the Speed Force to reassemble Thawne's body. And yes, this is a real thing that canonically happens on this show. The episode tries to say that Thawne is being erased from existence because he created Reverse Flashpoint during the last episode, but that. Is. Not. How. Time. Travel. Works. Thawne created the Reverse Flashpoint timeline, but he was originally from the prime timeline, which means he would not be erased from existence.

Secondly, his origin story was either added to or retconned depending on how you choose to interpret Thawne's speech from the season 1 finale "Fast Enough". At the top of that episode, Barry asks Thawne why he killed Barry's mom, and Thawne's response is "Because I hate you. Not you now; you years from now." Barry then asks why they're enemies, and Thawne says "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is that neither of us were strong enough to defeat the other... Until I learned your secret. I learned your name. Barry Allen." So in this episode when Barry asks the same question, why Thawne hates him, and we actually get an answer... The answer we get is kinda underwhelming. Turns out that two centuries from now (which just proves that the writers have no idea that a century is 100 years and that Barry would be well over the age of 200 at that point), Thawne was about to present himself to the world as the new Flash, and Barry showed up and impressed the crowd more than Thawne. But Thawne had set up a trap to endanger the crowd (supposedly, knowing the character's comic origins definitely gives this scene a different subtext), and Barry saved the crowd in Thawne's place. Thawne saw this as Barry "stealing his life", and... It's just kinda underwhelming. I mean, I credit the writers for trying to iron out Thawne's origin story, but it just comes off as Thawne not really being a real character. Maybe there was a bunch of stuff in Thawne's life that happened before that moment, and that was just his breaking point, but the episode frames it as the *only* reason that Thawne hates Barry. And the result is that it works in terms of Thawne's patented pettiness, but doesn't really work as a villain origin story. It comes off like wallpaper at best, and a blatant retcon at worst.

Also, Tom Cavanagh seemed like he was asleep this episode, and considering this was the "sendoff" for Reverse Flash, I'm so sorry Tom, but I wish we'd gotten a little more nuance in your performance.

Retcons and tv logic aside, the writers did manage to fall into an interesting premise for this episode. Barry has to choose whether or not to save Thawne's life despite everything that Thawne's done to him and will continue to do to him. On a better written show, this could work. But what happens instead is that we get a last minute reveal that Despero lied about his origin story, and suddenly he's willing to destroy all of Central City just to make sure that Team Flash doesn't save Thawne, since I guess Thawne created a *new* Armageddon in the future that Despero returned to? What? It seems like we skipped a step here, and I honestly don't know where. Despero doesn't want to kill Barry anymore, but wants to kill Thawne instead, even though Earth isn't really his home anymore? Am I supposed to not feel bad for Despero anymore? I gotta say, he was a more interesting character when he was still a guy that made the wrong choice and didn't kill the guy that tried to destroy his planet.

Also on the board of confusing stuff, why is the "Flame of Pytar", Despero's eye beam, suddenly an actual flame? I guess this might just be me misinterpreting the alien stuff, but I thought that the "Flame of Pytar" was an energy source that Despero could harness and use as an energy beam. Just wish that was made a bit more clear from early on.

Let's focus on one of the positives of the episode. Despite Barry vs Despero being a pretty awful CGI fight that would've only looked good during season 1 (and maybe 2 since they did have that CGI bout with two Barry's in the episode "Flash Back"), we did get one genuinely cool moment from Barry this week, and that was when we finally got to see him don the gold boots that people have been asking for for YEARS! And you know what? Yeah. They look good. I like the look of the suit with or without them, but it was cool to see that some of the fans finally got what they wished for.

And a small aside with the gold boots, I actually had a thought before I sat down and watched the episode of "I think to help ease the audience into accepting Chester as the new Cisco, he should've made a small addition to the Flash suit to really make it his own. That would've been a cool way to introduce the gold boots." And low and behold, that's pretty much what ends up happening in this episode. Just funny that I kinda predicted it.

So Mia Smoak/Queen is here for the final part of this crossover, and you could cut her out of the episode and absolutely nothing else would change. Actually, scratch that. Cutting Mia out of the episode would mean that Iris gets less screentime, and we could've budgeted five more minutes of the episode for an intriguing discussion between Barry and Thawne or Barry and Despero. For context, I don't hate Mia as a character. I thought she was overblown during Arrow's final two seasons, but I was convinced she could carry her own show with Laurel and Dinah by her side, and was less than thrilled when it was announced that her spinoff wasn't happening. And the thing is, this episode doesn't really do anything to further her story. And I guess that it turns out that a mark on the hozen that's been passed down in her family since her dad found it on Lian Yu could yield some results about William's disappearance? The thing's over sixty years old! That does not make sense!

Also, Damien Darhk has his fourth Arrowverse death here, and his daughter Nora randomly shows up and switches places with him after he dies because the timeline gets reset. It's cool to see Nora here, and we knew she was in Vancouver since the actress that plays her, Courtney Ford, is married to Brandon Routh who plays Ray Palmer. It did feel out of place in the episode to randomly get another tearful goodbye from Darhk after he already got a great sendoff in Legends of Tomorrow's "Mister Parker's Cul-de-sac" though.

Looking at the episode overall, this might just be one of the most boring box-standard episodes of the whole show, and that is weird considering that this was supposed to act at the finale for this Armageddon storyline. We've got origin stories twisted or retconned, characters getting permanently depowered, new time travel rules, plenty of known murderers being forgiven, and Allegra straight up saying that she doesn't care who Thawne is. And as for that last one, I get why she doesn't care, since she's only been around long enough for him to do... Well... What he does from the season 7 finale until now, which is basically nothing from her perspective. Believe it or not, that's one of the more *sane* things that happens in this episode. I just hope that the rest of the season isn't like this. This show's due for a truly great episode any day now.

5 / 10.

Nothing new, nothing interesting.
poseidon-thoughts15 December 2021
The episode provides nothing new, yet again they bring back reverse flash the only good character in the series but now some how they ruined him with the new outfit. The fear we use to have for the reverse flash has finally disappeared.

The only way they made the show somewhat interesting was to bring in other characters from other shows like, Damien Darhk and Mia.

Barry finally gets his golden boots but in the most anticlimactic way possible, with Chester pulling it out from under the control table and everyone looking into a glowing golden box. That's sad.

This is most likely the last season of the Flash.

You're forgetting one thing.....
damian-ray131 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
If Barry fixed the timeline and got rid of Thawne's anomalies, why wouldn't that have erased Thawne from the timeline immediately and Barry's past reset from when Thawne killed his mom since Thawne created a time paradox?

It would have been like Flashpoint except it would have been organic and not created by Barry Allen changing time. Wasn't Thawne going back in the past and killing Barry's mom also one of the time anomalies he created? Why wouldn't that event also be erased from the timeline? Why did it only effect Barry's recent part and not his past childhood too?

Once again the writer's room proved they can never wrap a story an a good note writing wise.
marihgouvea15 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a complete mess, it really speaks to Eric and the writers when they can never keep momentum on a plot.

1)The discussion about not killing was once again stupid as heck. Barry has already killed metas in his first year as The Flash;

2) They didn't even have to kill him, they just needed to let the timeline settle in the EXACT way he was gonna do to Barry and in that make it so a serial killer could never again harm anyone;

3) Joe is a complete rubbish person now. Since s6 the only thing he does is act as a mammy character whenever a random person needs it and disrespect/yell at his childen. Iris and Wally deserves better than this horrible human he became. They killed him completely.

4) The Caitlin and Thawne part was kinda good but clearly pointless cause they won't follow through. They actually had someone said that she wasted her life and it will be fruitless cause no one writes or cares for this character really.

5) The villain was Cicada level of bad. Completely nonsensical and cringe. They had a few good fight sequences in the middle but the last part was downright embarrasing.

6) The ending was a complete mess. All those cut bits and pieces that never amount to anything and zero payoff to keep us hopeful for the rest of the season.

They frankly should have ended this at episode 4 cause this was a significant decrease in hype. And now coming back to a new slot and not many promising things beyond tugging at a bit of nostalgia. If last episode was a sign that the Flash was getting back on track then this one is the reason it shouldn't. Just give us a half decent season and call it a day cause we can't bear it sinking lower than that.

S8E5 - basically raised the question on what to do with criminals.

My opinion, leave the justice to the ones that the criminals hurt the most.

Example, serial killer kills 10 people. Family of 9 forgives, fine they forgive, but the 10th one decides to kill, let them kill that SOB.

Reason: that serial killer might spent rest of his life in prison, which is still roof over his head and food on the table. Or he might get out and kill again, to me at that point deaths aren't the fault of the serial killer, but the justice system that failed to kill him.

We thought that this epidode was going be great, but we were wrong. For a one reason:

They have iris interact with Mia, instado Barry, who was his fathers best friend. I mean the writers forgot about the relationship between them.

Warning: Spoilers
I smiled so hard when Barry came and hugged Joe, missed the guy. Barry explains why he was acting so unusual was because of Thawne's recent doing. "Nothing like a second shot at life." Damien appears out of nowhere due to the portal bringing along with him since he was connected to the time stone. Barry gives Damien the time stone. Thawne speeds back to the CCPD building confronting some officers. Immediately after Barry hears from Iris that Thawne is at the CCPD. HEY, IT'S HER AGAIN. So yes, Thawne is also suffering from temporal fade. Flash arrives in time before Thawne does the good old hand thing on her. Thawne requests Barry to save him from temporary fading. After this, they jail Thawne in his old jail cell.

Oh, memories. "My goals are beyond your understanding." Iris asks Mia why is she here in 2021? She answers that she has been looking for him for two years. Thawne only has two hours until he fades. Barry comes and talks to Thawne asking him questions with him answering them. Despero comes back to Barry warning him to let Thawne die, and that if he doesn't. He will cause another Armageddon. Barry discusses this with the team. The majority of the team agrees on finally letting Thawne die. Joe calls for Barry and Iris convincing the two to not let him die. Despero calls upon Mia to help him to kill Thawne.

Barry discusses with the team to take away his speed permanently until Despero comes in warning Barry to let Thawne die or he will suffer the consequences. The two teleport to 2031 fighting. Mia attacks the team. Allegra and Iris convince Mia to fight against Despero. Mia finally fights back. Barry travels back to 2021. Since Despero is enraged, he will be set upon doom among Central City. Barry retrieves GOLD BOOTS!!! Flash uses his gold boots "absorbing" Despero's flame source. Despero melts. Barry rushes to Star Labs using his powers to remove the negative speed force in Thawne's body, saving his life.

Thawne later is sent to A. R. G. U. S. Custody. Damien appears out of nowhere. Iris gives out a clue for Mia to eventually find her brother. OH JESUS CHRIST, NOT AGAIN WITH CHESTER AND ALLEGR- ah, thank god Barry interrupts the conversation. Joe thanks Damien for helping Barry to restore the timeline. Damien gives a gift to West. Immediately disappearing, Damien and Nora finally reunite, but a farewell. Nora appears. Immediately, West confronts her about the stuff that happened. Barry gives out a speech to his teammates for a drink. OH MY GOD. Barry's kids interfered with time again, smh. I am not ready to see them again in March, nononononono.

Thoughts?

So, I was right. I WAS RIGHT! It should have ended with Part 4. This is my least favorite episode of Armaggedon. But, I will start with the positive first. The conversation between Thawne and Caitlyn was intriguing, especially with the mention of Ronnie. The fight between Flash & Despero was stunning, a nice extra with the gold boots, a good choice for the writers to keep Thawne alive. He needs to be the final villain. Although, there was bad CGI. Chester and Allegra is hell no. Damien was also a nice touch of the story.

With that done. How the hell did Mia arrive in 2021, and the stuff with her impacted nothing. I'm not a big fan of her character. She doesn't have the same mantle as her father. There was nothing excitable in this one. It was a... bland conclusion. The plot was all about whether the team should let Thawne live or die, and it wasn't engaging. The direction of Despero was underwhelming.

5/10.
