Disappointed. Many misrepresentations of Reggie White.

I am overall disappointed. Countless times in this documentary, refraining from spoilers, they often twist Reggie's words. They clip certain parts of him saying controversial things and leave out so much of what he follows up after to say regarding homosexuality, making it seem as though he's hateful. The people interviewed in the documentary put words in his mouth. They paint him as someone evil. And at the end of his life they strategically make it seem as if he abandoned his foundation, the Bible, by reading the original Hebrew, giving up the concepts of hell and regarding homosexuality as sin. Yet no word spoken by Reggie even hints at this. It is strange to see a documentary try to document his life, yet twist his beliefs and experiences to fit some narrative to make what is sinful seem harmless. I encourage everyone to watch this documentary and listen closely. As you will hear many moments, especially from LZ and another man, misquote Reggie. In one moment, one saying to my recollection how Reggie did not want gays to have rights yet, ironically, later in the documentary they play a clip of Reggie saying that they should have rights. They make him seem as if he pushed to dehumanize homosexuals and push to remove them, but that is simply not true as we all need a savior, a redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. I am so encouraged by Reggie. Do not dismiss this because I speak religiously. Everything that Reggie stated in this documentary is accurate according to a biblical perspective. ESPN is all about pleasing the itching ears. Giving people what they want to hear. We have abandoned what is true and the hope of this world. JESUS CHRIST. There is redemption for all. His love for you covers all transgressions. We are called to deny ourselves. That flies in the face of modern day culture. I will be praying for all who see this review and this film! God bless!
