Deserves major awards recognition
theojhyman18 November 2021
A heartbreaking and beautiful film anchored by an amazing performance from its young child star. The director, cinematographer, and young actor all deserve major awards recognition and I hope this film is widely seen across the world in cinemas and gets picked up by a major streaming service.

Unique film about persecution of Kurds in Syria
msaphra2 April 2022
A beautifully conceived and filmed movie depicting the lives and persecution of the Kurdish population in Syria, Life, seen through the eyes of a young Kurdish boy, who has to deal with hardship and violence, is portrayed with enough warmth and humor to soften the harshness. The child star gives an amazing heartfelt performance, and so does the rest of the cast. You get a real feel for the people and region where the story takes place, as well as its history.

So many elements in a single movie
saraswatmajumder22 December 2022
A touching film with a deep messages coming up throughout the movie . Makes you aware of the Kurdish cause and how humans are divided in the world and how a small boys/girls view world quite differently than adults until they are misguided by people with deep hatred in them . Would be surely top 5 Independent movies I have ever watched . Only complain I have is slow movement of the story at certain points in the movie . The title of the movie is surely justified and signifies how important neighbours can be in your little world very both of you are not seen on very friendly terms with the establishment .

Nice Movie

A charming and brilliant film.

It is a stunning masterpiece with excellent storytelling, cinematography, and acting... it's a perfect film.

And even though it is a heart-breaking story, there is enough humor to help get through the film without taking away from the serious gravity of the situation.

My Favorite Movie
kamyarrashidi31 October 2022
This movie was a piece of art along with being highly informative. It tells people about Ba'athism in Syria, and it also tells audience about the human spirit, friendship, and solidarity.

It starts with the first twenty minutes of humor and character development. Then, the film changes its tone by showing more poignant scenes. But it still creates emotional harmony and combines laughter and tears of sadness. The movie describes elements of the Ba'athism psychology demonstrated by a teacher in a variety of ways.

The acting is pretty much flawless. The child actor gives an admirable performance

I would highly recommend watching this movie, although it is very heartbreaking.
