. . . according to the narrator's giddy wrap-up of this up-till-then rather mundane promotional piece for the University of Southern California. Allegedly filmed in 1942, the three USC coaches featured here tout training techniques that probably would have fit in well during the early years of the original Olympics, circa 750 BC. It's clear that the Trojan baseball and football squads could have quickly felt as at-home back then as their discus-throwing and "broad-jumping" classmates. USC's athletic facilities obviously Pre-Date the Trojan War, most likely tracking back to Cain-and-Abel Days. It's not hard to see why USC remains a joke in most sports, when they were so backward less than 75 years ago (and not very bashful about advertising their dilapidated state to the world!). The U.S. War Department Censors looking over the shoulders of the Motion Picture Association's Morality Police were legally obligated to make sure that EVERY feature and short churned out during WWII (1942 - 1945) promoted America's War Effort. Though they say you cannot make a Louisville Slugger from a palm frond, the War Censors made RIGHT TIMING's narrator try to do so with TIMING's histrionic closing monologue.
