A Story that Clone Wars fans will love
ha77y73ad9725 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The story arc just keeps getting better and better. With the introduction of Cad Bane to the series i thought this was going to take off and it certainly has. Most of the first half of the episode is the standard, track down Omega, Omega whilst she's in Banes Cell and then the trade off with the Kaminoans. This honestly feels to the level of story telling as the clone wars had, great characters and a mission spanning multiple episodes. I cannot forgive them for introducing the Martinez sisters again but the rest of the 1 off stories have been good! This arc is awesome though!

The trade happens on a remote planet that used to house a cloning facility and we finding possibly the link to the Client, Dr. Pershing and the cloning facility on Nevarro from the Mandalorian. Reconing a major plot hole from the Rise of Skywalker is bold but again with the help of Filoni this seems to be so organic and should be apart of the Star Wars Saga. More of an early Kaminoan clone than a direct Snoke clone but still the same clouded chambers instead of the clean blue on the home Kamino facility.

Also great to the 2 fighting styles of Bane And Shand, one cowboy gunslinger and one tactically aware form expert.

Another great addition to the series!

We get more Cad Bane and that takes more priority over the rest of the show.

Bounty Hunter Brawl
maxglen25 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This was a pretty decent episode. We got more Cad Bane which is never a bad thing and we got Fennec in an all our Bounty Hunter battle. The episode had sinister undertones which I think really helped set the mood and the framing of the shots was great. We got a name drop for Boba which I really hope means we'll get an adaptation of the Boba vs Cad story arc that was scrapped from Clone Wars, I think it would be very easy for them to find a way to fit it in. Overall, pretty decent although I would have liked to have seen the Batch's hint for Omega last a little longer.

The Stage is Set

Warning: Spoilers
The episode jumps right into the action with Crosshair following the Batch after the previous episode's events. And that is all we see of Crosshair this week.

The animation was still beautiful, but nothing particularly stood out, except for the first shot of the abandoned facility. The music was pretty good, although I really wanted to hear the new theme heard in the last episode a bit more.

It was a very Batch-less episode and it actually worked in the show's favor. All of the members got their own time and space to bring forward their inputs and use their abilities to help rescue their little friend. The three-party stand-off with Bane, Fennec and Omega was one of the best parts about the episode and was handled very well. It allowed for their personalities and powers to pop through and show themselves.

The Bane vs. Fennec fight has to be one of the best fights in the show yet. Although I am still not sure if Bane was going easy on Fennec or if Fennec is supposed to be as strong as Bane. Because I honestly expected Bane to beat her in a couple seconds. Fennec is still probably supposed to be in her early years of bounty hunting, so going toe to toe with Bane and standing her ground was a bit surprising.

The story takes immense momentum in just a few minutes. While not the entire episode is plot-focused, there is a lot of stuff going on that makes it go forward really quick. Omega is revealed to be a kind-of sister to Boba Fett, i.e., an original copy of Jango, and the struggle inside the Kamino elite becomes extremely clear with Lama Su and Nala Se now against each other behind the scenes.

So, with amazing animation and music, albeit not being stand-out, and a really cool action set piece with an interesting stand-off, "Bounty Lost" leaves the Batch aside for a moment to focus on Omega and the bounty hunters, and make the sides a bit more clear, along with dropping a huge bomb about Omega's speciality.

Presentation (Animation/Music, etc.) - 3/4

Story - 3/3

Characters - 2/3.

Solid episode

Not at the level of the previous episodes but advances the plot so not at all filler. Great to see Bane in action and Fennec. Nice to see the machinations of the cloners.

Typical Clone Wars style episode
alexwboucher25 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode had the feel of a typical Clone Wars episode. The fact that the bad batch didn't feature much, meanwhile Cad Bane and others were prominent. I think it's good for the series that occasionally this happens. Very fun episode. Kind of wished there was a cliffhanger at the end though.

Bounty Lost

Although being a filler episode, and taking a step away from the overall plot, this episode was really good. I won't get into a lot of detail, but this episode picks up directly after the last one with Omega being held prisoner on Cad Bane's ship. We get some good action, a guest appearance, and a deeper understanding as to why the Kaminoans are after Omega.

This was definitely one of the better episodes of the show. Can't wait for next week!

Cad Me If You Can
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic25 May 2022
This is an exciting and fun episode as Cad Bane tries to return his bounty,Omega, to the Kaminoans and receive his payment. The Bad Batch search for Omega and one Kiminoan with a conscience hires Fennec Shand to stop Omega from being handed over.

The animation is great, the action is extremely enjoyable and there is a bit of depth as Omega stumbles across an old cloning facility hinting at unknown experiments.

Very strong episode.

My rating: 8.5/10.

Two!
wetmars26 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, what an episode that was! Two Bounty Hunters fighting each other was worth it, kick-ass action. Some moments between Omega & Wrecker, Hunter. I was rooting for Cad Bane to win, but neither did they win. I expected Fennic to kick Bane's ass, but at least that didn't happen. I would have been pissed if she pulled him off the edge, and he legitimately dies on impact. The best action I've seen for a while. You go Cad Bane!

8/10.

A too quick rescue?
kaczkahans25 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Oh, man. This episode has brought my doubts about the Bad Batch back (in the long run). This episode is good but still weaker than the last two episodes. I don't like Tod's decision to free Omega. As if a droid fell for that. Maybe his programming is more tolerant to that but yeah... At least Bane got her very quickly. The duel between Cade Bane and Fennec was good but Cade had multiple chances to kill her and didn't do it? Come, on. He would never let her alive after she had come in his way. I know she cannot die now but that's still really poor plot armour. I liked that Fennec could compete with Bane. Maybe it was a little bit too much. Wasn't the arrival of the Bad Batch a little too fast? If they were that far away, how could they come to Omega's whereabouts so quickly? Whatever. The question is: What episodes are they going bring now? I really hope they just don't go back go the style of the first episodes. I feel like Omega's rescue could have been a few episodes later. They wouldn't have had to drag it forever. I hope this fast rescue twist doesn't destroy much potential.

Very fun
Trey_Trebuchet25 August 2021
The Bad Batch themselves aren't in this episode for a majority of the runtime and Omega is the central character. A handful of people seem to want the opposite of this, but it actually worked pretty well here.

Just about any episode of Star Wars with Cad Bane is bound to be good. I enjoyed seeing him again and I also enjoyed Fennic Shand. Great pacing and animation and story progression. This is more of what I want from this show.

A true successor to The Clone Wars
sevskirita24 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode settles it for me. This show is truly the successor to TCW that it should be. The action was fantastic, lore interesting, and emotional moments heartfelt. I would describe this episode as perfect, though I feel a 10/10 would be reserved for something even better. The only qualm I have is that Bane's theme seems WAY too on the nose, and I think they could've tried harder to blend the Western with the sci-fi. Otherwise, all around great, and it's nice to see Fennec shine.

Bounty Lost
MrFilmAndTelevisionShow13 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is much like a Classic Clone Wars episode, the introduction of Cad Bane was a masterstroke he's great Fennec is an interesting character too, her motivations are not yet fully known. I wonder if this is the last main plot episode for now before some more as people say "filler" episodes.
