Very enjoyable, and entertaining, with the scene reflecting those of my childhood. Highly recommended.

Great job on this movie!

It's worthy of some sort of award. Really really good job here. It really touched me.

Nice to see a good, wholesome, short ghost story that doesn't resort to special effects or shock tactics.

The characters are well-developed, even though some of them are only seen briefly.

The historic setting, of both the main character and Britain, is long enough ago that it brings feelings of nostalgia, but recent enough that most of us can relate to it.

This is movie I can recommend to everybody, regardless of age, gender or background. Everybody can appreciate it.

Beautiful and touching. I watched this about a month ago and I still remember the story clearly. In some ways it reminded of some of the really poignant episodes of Twilight Zone and other really memorable media.

Well written, acted and edited.

Warning: Spoilers
To avoid spoilers, do not read this review until you have seen the film.

I have given this short film the maximum rating, on the grounds that it is a straightforward story, but very well acted and edited. Like the M. R. James' ghost stories, the story is subtle, in that it avoids the modern error of being too 'up front' with the supernatural aspect. The 3 'ghosts' (if that's what they were) could have been the product of the young boy's imagination or a dream, until the very end, when the presence of the door is revealed, and even then, this could be a co-incidence.

I thought the setting chosen was clever, in that the use of the vintage car provided just enough period atmosphere at very little cost.

The acting of all concerned I found perfectly convincing, especially that of the boy, which must have been a difficult balance to strike for someone of that age, so credit must go to him and to the director and editor.
