I am really exited for the new movie. I think it is going to be a type movie we didn't get to see from marvel yet.

Okay, that wasn't too shabby I'd say

Warning: Spoilers
Here we have exactly what the title says. Okay, maybe a number is missing. The title of the third Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland is revealed this time. I must say I am not a fan at all of him as Spider-Man and I prefer the Garfield films and especially the old films by Sam Raimi starring Tobey Maguire. But that is another story. Back to this one here: It only runs for under 40 seconds and a great deal of that is even the closing sequence with the logo, so you can blink and this is over. The three young key cast members here show up and Holland enters the room of the director trying to find out the name of the new Spider-Man movie. Or I should say he leaves the room and is unhappy that they again did not tell him. Then the two key supporting players make a little bit fun of him that he just cannot keep a secret and that's why they just won't tell him. Then the camera moves over to a bulletin board and we see a whole lot of idea what the title could be and in the middle in big letters the actual title.

No need for me to mention said title here as you can watch the film yourself. It's maybe also not too cool that the title is mentioned here in the summary already, so it is a bit of a massive spoiler. However, it never really felt too much to me about the revelation, but more about the fun component and how they put the actors in our shoes trying to find out about the title too. It was a creative little idea and solid execution all in all. I will probably watch this newest Spider-Man film at some point, but even if I liked it here, I am not too curious about it. The title is also truly generic to be honest. Oh well. At least, it was a solid idea we got here. I think I have seen somthing similar from Bond at some point, but other than that, they don't make these too often. I personally still hope the series ends with that one and that maybe five years from now they come up with a different, maybe darker, take on Spider-Man with a new lead actor, even if I am not sure if "dark" is something that suits Spider-man. I still think it cannot get worse really than it was with this (now soon a) trilogy. This little revelation is maybe better than most of the stuff you see on the movies or I don't know, maybe it's a solid indicator that the third film will be strong. Would be slightly surprising as with Raimi/Maguire it was by far the worst. We will see. The revelation here gets a surprising thumbs-up from me, not an enthusiastic one though, even if I think it would be nicer to see more revelations like this one here in the future. Positively recommended.

another marvel license being made by a non-marvel company
thebeav1112 June 2021
Give the rights back Sony! We want Marvel making all the Marvel movies, not Sony or Fox... at least they got Fox back now, just need you to give back you licenses now so we can have proper all encompassing Marvel movies :-p.
