In looking for shorts on this site, I stumbled onto this one about an aspiring actor living in a warehouse. His name is Marcus Proctor and he really wants to make it in Hollywood. He mentions he's in two plays, one of them as an understudy, and in a couple of features and also had a web site but had to give that up. He showers in the church bathroom and goes to the library a few times. He seems to have a positive attitude about the whole thing and is glad that since his parents trust him, they're not so worried about him. It's not until after the film ends that we find out that three days later, the manager of the warehouse threw him out and is now sleeping in acquaintances' couches. Considering all the subsequent titles I found of his on this site, I hope he saved enough money to at least stay in an apartment. In summary, Homeless in Hollywood is a fascinating look at one struggling actor's life early in his career.
