what a nice virtual trip to E. Africa!
ngandacinema6 December 2023
What a nice virtual trip to East Africa from the comforts of our homes! 'Djibouti' had a solid script, good entertaining moments, but regrettably a not-so-good execution

DELICIOUS

-Anyone watching 'Djibouti' will have a taste of the country as the movie introduced us to its beautiful people, music, cities, traditions, and languages😍

-Amith Chakalakkal outdid himself compared to his previous roles. He was hilarious and casual, then transformed into a responsible shattered man.

-'Djibouti' will definitely teach you about the extreme need to bond as brothers when living abroad. Louie's friends in Djibouti were his backbone as he faced several battles

-Good job to the fight choreographers for producing dynamic scenes that were so exhilarating!

BLAND

-The inconsistent editing sadly killed 'Djibouti'. Many scenes didn't smoothly transition to the next and the audio was affected by many echo sounds

-Color grading failed to accentuate the beauty of the landscapes in Djibouti and Kerala. The green screen shots were too obvious and took away from the authenticity of the story...

Boring and waste
sherinedava16 February 2024
Such a waste film. . You will be disappointed after watching this film. Poor script .. I dont know why the above peoples are giving full marks for the movie. . Villain her brother suddenly gets angry by hearing a news . And going for the revenge with chasing and acrion sequenses. The good element i see on this movie is the places where this movie was shot. Other than that there is norhing good to see. . I am wondering how could the lead actor select this kind of pa.thetic. Review. . He is a wonderful actor but how could he select this one. Thanku for wasting my time.. Kindly bring some realiatic script next time.

Well cooked, but could've garnished well
aj-amaljose31 March 2022
A simple story line, well portrayed. The genre expands from one of a simple village boy to a survival mode.

Hats off to the cinematographer and the whole crew who did sweat it out in Djibouti amidst covid times.

Amith, Gregory and Shagun did a pretty good job at portraying their characters, very relatable and close to life. Special mention to Athira for her debut on a large canvas, who did justice to her limited screen time.

The movie could've been edited a tad bit better, keeping the pace intact, but kudos to the whole team for the effort.

Great movie

I personally like this movie. Amit and Biju sopanam chettans acting is so good. Good narration and story line. Always a fan of Biju chettan. Each and every role has its own variety of emotions and part in the movie overall go watch it or you're losing a golden chance to enjoy such a great movie experience.
