I'll be brief. This program was one of the best uses of television that I have ever seen. The information was excellent, but the ecological demonstration was fantastic. The pictures, sound, and narration were very fine and integral to the success of the presentation. Everyone should see it.
The interaction between humans, animals, plants, weather, and environment was well shown. The changes over a year's time was well handled and informative. Much of the photography was exceptional, especially the high magnification photography of insect life, etc. The program appeared in the US as a high definition television program, and the quality of the film demonstrated the value of both high definition video and surround sound.
