- In Asgard, Balder assembles the best warriors in the land to find the evil sorcerer who made the tear in the sky and is dumping junk through it. An AIM grinder lands on Balder's head and kills him.
In the AIM HQ in the mail room where he's now working, MODOK wonders what else he can dump down the trash portal he's made to Asgard. Gary, looking on, wonders how the portal is going to destroy Moni can and help MODOK regain his title as Scientist Supreme. MODOK admits that it won't but it makes him feel great to screw with Thor. He throws a string cheese wrapper into the portal, and wishes he didn't have to eat the string cheese. Gary stops him from throwing a fire extinguisher because he was elected the Office Fire Captain, so MODOK sets the portal to his stomach, and pours milk in so he can "eat smarter". He vomits on Gary, who vomits into the portal.
Austin comes in and mentions that MODOK has been ignoring his emails. He figures that MODOK isn't responding to his management style, and says that he'll deliver new messages via his cute puppy. Sherlock. Austin speaks through Sherlock, saying that MODOK isn't doing his job, and MODOK tells Austin to get out. Austin says that if Mm doesn't deliver the mail then he'll have to figure out what's lower than mail room delivery.
Once Austin leaves, MODOK tells Gary that they should channel their rage into building a mech suit, giving MODOK the power to crush his enemies and experience what it's like to have thighs. Jodie calls MODOK for the first time since the separation. When Jodie says that she needs MODOK, he figures that it's phone sex. She assures him it isn't, and explains that Lou released doves at his bar mitzvah rehearsal and she needs MODOK's help to clean up after them.
MODOK goes to the house, and Lou says that one dove corrupted the others and it isn't his fault. He plans to pull rabbits out of yamakas and raise his foreskin from the dead, His parents remind him that they told him his foreskin is in Hell, and lists all of his "safe" ideas for the ceremony. MODOK insists that Lou will have a normal bar mitzvah, while Lou chloroforms one of the escaped birds and promises it it's going to be a star.
Back in the mail room, MODOK and Gary work on the mech suit. Lou is there, and explaining stage magic to a lackey. MODOK goes over to tamp down Lou's individuality, and asks Lou to show him some his stage magic. Lou is glad to oblige, MODOK shoves it all into the portal and tells Lou that he's not doing magic at his bar mitzvah and should just be normal. Lou jumps into the portal after his things, and MODOK jumps in after his son. Lou lands in a pond, while MODOK lands in a puddle of mud.
Lou figures that he's in Narnia, and a local faerie tries to mug him. A kobolt attacks Lou, and a falling fire extinguisher knocks out MODOK. When he wakes up, MODOK finds a fainting goat chewing on him. It faints, but not until it chews up the wires on MODOK's hoverchair. Lou screams, and MODOK rolls over and discovers it's another goat screaming. MODOK sees two goats flying overhead, pulling a chariot, and hooks up the two goats to his own chariot and tells them to fly. They don't fly, and MODOK wonders if he should switch them with two other nearby goats but figures he doesn't have all day to switch goats.
The other goats fly off, and MODOK has his goats follow the trail of Lou's things. Jodie calls and MODOK assures her that things are good. She asks how Lou is doing, just as a giant squirrel leaps off and the fainting goat faints. As the squirrel swings at MODOK, he dodges and tells Jodie that everything's fine. A frost giant shows up and clubs the squirrel, and then tries to club MODOK. MODOK dodges and assures Jodie that Lou is safe. An even bigger squirrel shows up and bite3s the giant's head off, and Jodie thanks MODOK for handling Lou.
Asgardian warriors capture MODOK, take him to their camp, and General Dagger explains that their on the hunt for the sorcerer who murdered Balder. All the junk has AIM stamped on it, and so does MODOK. He rubs it off and says he's never seen the stamp, and Dagger says that if they find the sorcerer then they'll "clonk him up good". Dagger declines to go with MODOK to rescue Lou from the kobolds because they have a thousand year peace with them, because they're an important part of the ecosystem, not because they're peaceful. They devour innocent children so the warriors can have unprotected sex without consequences.
MODOK rides to the kobolt castle and finds Lou performing for the kobolts. Even though they don't understand what he's doing, they're entertained. Lou has a female kobolt, Krawleen, fill in for him and leaves the stage. He goes over to MODOK and greets him, and MODOK thinks that the kobolts have turned Lou into a fool. Lou says that he's been workshopping his magic act for his bar mitzvah, and asks MODOK if he thinks that it's cool. He explains that the kobolts were "saucing him up", but then did some magic and became a star performer. Lou sass that he's doing well and making more than Krawleen, and MODOK tells Lou that they're leaving. His son figures that he can stay there and not hide who he is, and tells the kobolts to throw MODOK out.
The kobolts throw MODOK and his goats out, and MODOK figures that he'll have to take Lou back by force, and go to war with him. MODOK returns to the warriors' camp and shows them Lou's ID AIM visitor card, and says that Lou leads the kobolts. They're eager to go to war.
The Great Bar Mitzvah War drags on for months, and MODOK takes the warriors' shield away to melt them down and make figurines to play with. Much to Dagger's disgust, MODOK figures they should melt down the figurines' shields to make swords for them. A courier arrives and tells Dagger that the kobolts want to negotiate a truce for peace. MODOK makes a goat-propelled tank and goes to the meeting for "peace'. Lou talks with his father and points out that the war got out of hand and a lot of people died. MODOK isn't impressed, and Lou produces some flowers as a peace offering. The goat panic, driving the tank against a rock and knocking MODOK off of it and into a mud puddle.
Everyone except Lou laughs, and MODOK tells them to go because they laughed at him. Lou offers his father handkerchiefs to clean the mud off, and MODOK says that humiliation like his is what he wanted to save Lou from. He admits that he worries about Lou being too much like him, and assures Lou that hat he doesn't want his son to be more like him. MODOK explains that people mocked him all his life for being different, and points out that people like his greatest foe, Tony Stark. He says that he wants people to like Lou. One day MODOK will create a utopia for Lou where everyone likes him, but until then it's better if Lou like normal things.
Ass father and son bond, the kobolts come over and say that kobolt justice demands execution. They put a burlap sack on MODOK and haul him off, then take him to the castle and prepare to execute him. Lou is the executioner, and has put his father in a cabinet with Krawleen's legs sticking out the other end. He winks at MODOK and tells the kobolts that they'll split MODOK in two. MODOK overacts being cut in half, much to the disgust of the kobolts, and finally "dies" when Lou shushes him, as the kobolts cheer in relief.
Lou takes the cabinet backstage and tells MODOK that he was a little hammy. MODOK and Lou hug, and later MODOK tells the rabbi what happened, and that he managed to save his figurine. He explains that now he likes magic and sees his son in a positive light. The rabbi suggests Lou's magic is a symptom of a larger problem, and Lou is having a hard time with the divorce. She warns MODOK that there isn't a simple answer, but Lou is hurting and it's up to MODOK to figure out how to help him.
MODOK leaves and Lou greets him as "the coolest dad in the world." When MODOK says that they'll talk about magic at the bar mitzvah later, a disappointed Lou walks away with his goat. MODOK goes with his goat.
At a storage unit, the evil MODOK tells Super-Adaptoid that the Turlesons don't appreciate him. Super-Adaptoid denies it, but immediately accepts the evil MODOK's offer to betray the family. Evil MODOK shows Super-Adaptoid that he's already prepared mechanical boxes for the family.
