This style of episode has been done before.
First time I remember this kind of POV exchange was in the series LOST. A number of shows have done this 'what happened to so and so, we thought they were gone forever' episodes before. I have to say that I am a sucker for this kind of plot twist, but I digress; This episode has great character progression, along with doubts and thrills, and warmhearted moments.
It is a great bit of backstory for Ben and his dino friend Bumpy.
Highly recommended, but obviously you should check out the previous episodes as everything is very chronological in this series.
