I saw this little gem at the Indie Grits Film Festival in Columbia, SC. Thank you Nickelodeon! I'm not some snobby critic. I haven't seen all the great classics. I don't know the people involved in this film. But I have seen a helluva lot of movies and I know what I like. This homegrown bit of pulp is everything it is supposed to be. Sure some of the acting is low caliber. So what? There's action, chases, gun play, murder, one liners (or not), it's got it all. Part of the allure of the film is it's no/low budget look and feel. I could see this movie being remade a la el mariachi/desperado style. In fact, I'm going to see it again this weekend at the re-screening. Great job guys! Still waiting for the DVD(with commentary!)!
