Was originally shot as a single scene called 'The Darkest of Shadows', which was filmed on a Sony Handycam. This was created in 2006. Within the next year, the filmmakers got better equipment to work with, and so set out to come up with more scenes and sharpen their skills. DOS survived the cut, but was re-shot a year later with the new camera, but same actors.
Original opening was a simple montage of city shots. It was decided the film needed something more powerful. This also maintains the reason for not one credit to be displayed before or after. Credits were, however, added to the DVD as an extra.
Each scene was filmed on a single night, and usually after about five rehearsal nights (or until the actors were comfortable with the dialogue). The in between shots were always on different nights.
In the fourth story, 'O Votary', the only lights came from Soter's (Rundle's) candle and the street lights outside.
Only two actors appear twice as different characters. But only one actress appears in two dialogue stories.
