One of the more old-fashioned Natural Worlds current submerging on the iPlayer is this chilling slab of bear sorrow from the late noughties chronicling the difficulties of Polar Bears clashing with grizzlies as the climate warms. There are cubdeaths a plenty and the whole thing is a vortex of melancholy with the dark narration of Peter Guinness making it seem even more ominous. The worst part is knowing that 11 years have past, and things are likely even more desperate now than they were then. There's still some beautiful bear footage, an abundance of lovely fat seals and some jaw-dropping mountainous vistas to oggle at as the planet burns.
