The makers of this short had been making a comedy skit series on YouTube for fun, before wanting to try their hand at making a more serious short film. Using this short as a way to test their strengths as filmmakers.
The entire film was written out as an outline, but camera set ups and dialogue would be made up on the spot. No actual script or a shot list was written for the film.
Manuel Ruiz and Taylor Hill came up with the idea to make their first legitimate short film on the drive home after seeing Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds on opening day.
There was no specific cinematographer. The camera work was done by whomever wasn't in the scene.
