Naylor obviously could not stand to put out a sequel that did not measure up to the original so he put all his creativity into this series. He did not disappoint. The self references are delicious, the ham-handed references deliriously funny, the absurdity so thick you could cut it with a dull laser. Combine all that with truly touching moments and you have a gem of a series.
My ten year old daughter laughed until she cried playing back one slapstick action scene. I had to turn it off to get her to go to bed.
For me it was like seeing an old friend, tinged with sadness that the encounter has to end. I yearn for more.
