This one made me smile...and it addresses a great point.

Wilfried Dziallas stars as Edgar--a retired German man who is bored and aches to go back to work. But like in so many Westerns nations, to 'help' the elderly they force them to stop working...a situation that often leaves people with little purpose and a lot of boredom.

The film begins with Edgar in a department store trying to get a job. They tell him they simply cannot--he's too old and has reached the mandatory retirement age. Then, Egdar comes up with a VERY inventive solution--one that made me laugh and effectively took care of his problem.

Well directed and acted--this is a very good short film--I nearly gave it an 8. I sure would like to see more from these talented folks.

...is its ...taste. An old man looking for a job. Confessions, compromise, try to not be ignored. And the right music, performance, story. After the final credits, a mix of sadness and hope remains the most significant gift of a film about an age, a man and his so simple desire. Short, a profound beautiful film. Soft, ironic, gentle. Seductive. And, more important, usefule at whole.
