Went on a little too long.

I enjoyed the episode. Dr. Adrian's feud with the Chinese scientist was entertaining enough, but the show should have ended after Naird and the Chinese General finished their meeting. Instead we were subjected to an additional 5 minutes that should have been left on the cutting room floor.

The pranks, though pathetic, are actually funny.

Seriously. She is a high school student and is everywhere on base or in Washington. Her character is boorish and annoying. Her character Is unbelievable in a show that is unbelievable for its story.

cheesy chinese references

From a Chinese person point of view, overall all the chinese references are improved (not full of stereotype), but still cheesy.

No, no one (almost) like erhu.

No, Fan Bingbing is way like 2000 and remind you we are 3 months past 2022.

No, we don't bring our kid to business occasions and we generally don't brag about our kids - well maybe asian parants in US do.

And some fact about Moutai - there are different grade of moutai and the one that can be used as diplomatic gift is of course top notch. A 15-year Moutai is between 5000 RMB, which is about $800. For the tiny goblet that they were using, each bottle pours about 50 goblet. So each sip they take is about $16.

So I've decided to stick it out and finish the show regardless of how bad it is. My wife and I often "hate watch movies and shows" and this is no different. This episode was no less boring or dole or full of bad music then the last 2 episodes. I do remember laughing once over a food joke that I won't spoil for anyone. The bits about the relationship are beyond brain dead and lacking any emotion. Let's see what happens next!
