Mrs. Fitzgerald is staked with selling 25 raffle ticket books for her club- the Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Steinberg is also selling raffle tickets for another cause, and the two mothers-in-law swaps a ticket. Meanwhile, Bridget and Bernie are struggling to find peace and quiet from their families. The Steinbergs win 1st prize in the raffle: an all-expense roundtrip for two to Rome that includes a private audience with the pope. Mr. Fitzgerald shutters to think of the Jewish couple making a scene in front of the pope and instead buys two tickets to Tel Aviv, Israel to exchange with them. His plan doesn't go over as smoothly as planned, however.
In my opinion, this isn't a very interesting offering. It seems to take one concept that could have been handled as a minor detail within a scene and stretched it as the entire episode.
