The first series got so much comic mileage from the fact that the US had a moron for a president that I wondered how it would fare in the post-Trump era. The answer is - just great. Several laugh out loud moments for me.

This show has very little to no laughs. It's such a let down. I want to love everything Steve does, and his cast mates are funny individually, I'm so confused as to why this show doesn't work. The honest truth is, please stop forcing this show, do the right thing, bring back the office.

The characters have improved a lot! The script is much funnier. I also like how all the characters have more prominence. Steve Carell is super funny in every episode and the cast is fantastic!

First season was really not good. I read a couple of reviews arguing a change in season 2 but, man, that's not it. It's still that super awkward comedy with awful timing and actors stuck in an intrusive massive production. I wish they could just relax and enjoy their time together, but it looks like they're doomed statues in a fancy museum of bad acting.

I liked season 1. Wasn't briliant, but had a bit of originality.
10 minutes in season 2 and lost with the bad logic. First he says that it's his word against the other guy and asks for evidence of something that was done/said in the main room if I remember correctly, but then proceeds to show a video in the bathroom when the next one was lying.
If only writers weren't so stupid. I miss a good show.

Rough start, rougher soundtrack

Not what I was hoping for. My wife and I came back to this show after watching the last season over a year ago and the writing seems cornier than I remember. They try to sum up what happened in this episode but skim so much that im left struggling to keep up with the plot after such a long break . But the thing that pulled me out of the experience the most, was the horrendously loud orchestrated soundtrack blasting in scene that needed emotion. Not sure what the choice of this was but I have to say I would rather listen to a single note on a Casio keyboard then this god awful 500 man ensemble.
