This is a super-simple short film that manages to work well because of the good writing and acting. Had this very simple idea been handled less deftly, it would have been a chore to watch.
A guy is using the bathroom in a grocery store. When he leaves, he discovers that he's been locked inside and the only other person there is a Hispanic lady who knows little English. He unfortunately knows little Spanish, but between them they manage to communicate and form a friendship of sorts.
The film works because it's cute to see these two young people trying to communicate and get over the language barrier. It also helps that they both seem to be terribly nice people. A good showcase for all the talent involved, though a minor problem I noticed is that the lady seemed to understand more English as the film ended than when it began--and these were not words she learned from the man.
