The whole bus story is total BS And that Security company should be a comedy act If the Bus was true, it would have been brought prepared and waiting for them.

And how come they suddenly find 3 extra days in Mexico to rebuild the bus? I mean what had they planned to do there?

Euan is a World Famous actor, the insurance on him is crazy, if this was as dangerous as was made out it would not have been allowed or the BS story where he become a airport worker

Also as soon as that bus was being worked on, with the open gates it would have been spotted by "watchers" and why make the bus stand out with shiny new paint? You would wait it looking old and falling apart.

Also as soon as Euan entered Mexico the Police would have got involved as it could have caused a major security issue, but it makes good TV if you don't have a brain

and all this for ONE night, I mean WTF.

Why?

Why the bus? Why not travel during the day? How is that environmentally friendly?

It's sad to see a great show finishing like this

Oh damn, I loved this season, almost better then Long Way Down. I started driving a motorbike because of Long Way Round... I couldn't wait for the next episode. ... and then came this final episode, the bus, the how to put as less as possible in the last episode. They literally cut out Mexico except a garage and most of the US. Sorry to say, very bad ending

They spent 4 days buying a bus and customizing it, so they could travel through the night in it for one night because it was unsafe to travel at night??? But they NEVER travel at night anyway. Also they seemed overly excited to be in the bus, but again, why? Are they feeling the miles? Were they disagreeing? Something does not add up at all. Really want a better explanation.

Great series, poor last episode

So good traveling through the various countries, they were so beautiful and scenic and loved every episode until the last . What a let down with so much time wasted on fixing the bus and what a waste of money being spent on it for such a short journey.

Rushed Episode For Incredible Series

I LOVED this series so much and was a massive fan of Long Way Round and Long Way Down. I wasn't a massive fan of the bus idea but whatever gets you through safely but then, they spend nearly a whole episode (second half of ep 10 and first half of ep 11) just on getting the bus ready, to then for it to magically vanish with no mention when they get to the border. There's no real scenery of Mexico and the last episode just felt so rushed which is a shame as the rest of the series was amazing!

I don't even understand why they travelled to Mexico? To act like timid little house mice who are afraid to be in the country? Way to dispel negative stereotypes guys...

The whole bus nonsense really ruined the vibe of the whole series. I mean I can maybe forgive the countless workarounds (eg. Cheats) that were used with the electric bikes, like running a diesel generator to charge them (So green right...) but sticking the bikes on a tour bus so that someone else can drive you to your destination? How is that a motorcycle trip? Extremely disappointing.

If anyone wants to see a real motorcycle journey through Mexico, I recommend the youtube channel "Itchy boots".

There you will find a woman travelling by herself through the back roads of Mexico from south to north, all the while interacting with locals and learning about the culture. She also never shows any fear travelling through these areas. Charlie and Ewan could learn a thing or two from her.

Poor final episode

Disappointing final episode, seemed so rushed, what happened to the Rivians in Mexico they disappeared while so much time was spent creating crazy bus instead of exploring Mexico. The bus then disappears and Rivians reappear in USA.

I think I know the reason why!

What a let down! I think the only explanation is that Ewan McGregor must have signed his contract for the Obi-Wan series with Disney and was therefore prohibited from riding till the end (on Mexican portion of the trip). So they went along with this "dangerous roads" theory, which even made feel Ewan very uncomfortable (when he discusses it with one of the producers).

Wow... congrats on riding around like a bunch of toolbags Doing wheelies (and terrible ones at that) on public roads, showing off, and just general lack of riding skill is all embarrassing to watch. Riders like you give responsible riders a bad name. Ewan, your friend is dangerous on a motorcycle and he shouldn't be riding one, let alone be on a show doing so. How many accidents has he been in before this trip? How about on this trip? Some people are just not cut out for being on two wheels and the only way they learn is when they ultimately crash bad. Do your friend a favor, teach him to ride or get him off motorcycles before he kills himself and takes you or others out with him. Also, please don't ride around like you did in LA in future episodes, it was cringeworthy.
