The new addition of "Joe Hill" is a great new character addition to the show! Will Hochman seems a capable actor and brings his character to life and blends in with his new found family, the Reagan, just the way you might think! I hope this new addition becomes a permanent part of the cast!

Of course Danny goes rogue, because apparently no other NYPD detective can do the job properly (Danny even hints as much)
Once again Erin and Abetemarco set up the bad guy and step in WELL after the bad guy could have killed his intended victim. (who of of course was cooperating as the bait)
Just concentrating in the main story: Yeah we get that Joe Hill is conflicted about his relationship with his family. We get that he is getting flack with his precinct because they now know of his heritage.. Why leave this cliffhanger unresolved before Christmas? I have looked to see if there was a special episode due before Christmas. Nothing. No info that there will be an episode on Christmas
So, unless there is a surprise. (Have a depressing Christmas everybody!)
