Warning: Spoilers
Or does anyone else want to give Mike a big hug?? He is so incredibly huggable. Poor guy. He comes across as grumpy but he is just grieving the loss of his wife.

Pearl is employed by a young woman naked Christina to look into the death of her husband, who apparently committed suicide. Pearl invites Mike around for Christmas lunch at the restaurant.

I've genuinely enjoyed every episode so far, but this one, just a cut above, this was fantastic, such an entertaining, gripping and intriguing episode.

Some really clever red herrings are thrown into the mix, you're left thinking you have all the answers, think again.

The Christmas theme was a nice touch, as a production it had a quality feel to it.

There are some really killer performances here, Frances Barber, Howard Charles and Gerald Kyd, each one of them is fantastic, Kyd has recently appeared in Channel Five's Love Rat, if you haven't seen it, check it out.

One thing I've discovered, nobody makes coffee quicker than Pearl.

9/10.
