When Liz finds out that Dom died, she cries and her makeup gets smeared in one scene. In the next scene, the makeup is fixed again.
It makes no sense for Liz to believe that Dom would simply open up to her if she kept begging long and hard enough. That is the attitude of a high-schooler but not of a woman in her thirties, let alone a law enforcement officer with broad experience in counter-espionage. It makes even less sense for Ressler to humor her in any way at this stage, especially since she has come up with next to no evidence, let alone proof.
It makes no sense for Liz to suddenly start demanding evidence from Reddington for any of his claims about his past. Previously, she accepted everything Rostova/Tolliver told her without a single shred of proof.
