Maximus is a short film full of metaphors and uplifting messages. Cinematography was surprisingly good and it's evident they must have had at least a bit of a budget and the lead actress, especially as a child, deserves praise for being so believable!

Yet again Richard has written and directed a real gem of a film. Difficult subject matter spun and turned with deft and considered hands, into an emotional, engaging and well realised story. Well done to all who worked on it!

Absolutely fantastic! I am lost for words! This was such an excellent movie, from start to finish! Prendergast is a very talented director and well done to Earl Ling.

the truth

It is unfair to say too much about this film. Maybe - it is a film to feel it. A girl and her brother. And the story to venerable man about heroic Maximus and the wizard saving him. Fairy tale, legend and the simple truth, part of legend. The freshness of child storytelling and the real case as seed of hope and grattitude. Short, just great.
