A Turk with an American dream watched this documentary.

I found it while looking for a documentary to watch. Thanks to this documentary, I understood what the homeless and poor people of the USA, the country of my dreams, go through.

Living in America and perhaps becoming an American is something many people want. The USA is attractive to people living in other parts of the world because various social and human rights are important and its economy is good. Besides all this, it is difficult to understand why some Americans are still homeless.

I hope I will live in America soon and my American dream will come true. When my economic situation is good, I would love to help America's immigrants and homeless people.

This movie would have been better if it had focused on more detailed and striking facts about homeless lives. Still, it was interesting. Thanks to Director Sébastien Gilles for this documentary.

Wouldn't bother.

Released in 2019, so filmed 2018?, you can tell the director was non American, and had a narrative, disappointing really, potential for a really good documentary was overshadowed by his skewed personal views. The director literally talks to people who say they have been homeless for half a decade or more, and suffered for that long, (obviously during the Obama administration) yet the director spends a good portion laying the blame at the feet of Trump, something the people themselves didn't do.

Basic research and analysis matters here. And stop treating viewers like they are idiots. These "documentaries" are part of why subscribers are fleeing streaming services.

It was insulting to these homeless people to use their plight to push a narrative, and the director should be ashamed of himself.
