Halloween has come to Somerset, and Zoey and Henryare competing in the Halloween costume competition. However, Zoey has to become StarBeam after one of her arch enemies, Fishbeard, tries to steal the Golden Pumpkin Crown, but when the pirate steals it due to Harry's costume malfunctioning, he goes on to steal all the candy in town.
This is a neat special for little ones. Here, the Halloween scenery is not too scary, and the story does have some funny moments (one involves Fishbeard confusing some attandants at the Halloween party for StarBeam as they dress as her). Also, the heroes manage to save the day using their brains to trick Fishbeard to get the candy back, making this a good superhero special for those who are still too young for the likes of Spider-Man and The Avengers. Highly recommended for families with younger kids.
